Open fire places, cosy atmosphere, great choice of beer, friendly warm customers and staff, no music! What else do you want from a pub?
Simple cosy pub with great fresh beer served from the barrel. Friendly landlord...knows his locals and serves with a smile and conversation. No fruit machines or music unless a folk band randomly strikes up. Well worth a visit

A traditional old pub. No loud music and no poker machines, which we found enjoyable and fun. Staff and the locals were very friendly as well. Worthwhile visit.
