We were recommended this take away by family. We ordered online and when we collected our meal staff were very pleasant and we were impressed that they cooked in front of us. Everything was really tasty, and spices spot on. Our meal was also still hot when served up. We have since had a second meal with friends and all really enjoyed it. Thank you. We would recommend you try a meal here.

Amazing food - the best takeaway in Southampton.

We love indian food and have tried loads of takeaways. This place is by far the best takeaway in Southampton. We ordered by phone many times but recently collected our order. We were surprised that you see all ingredients and the food cooked right in front of you. The smell is amazing and all of the ingredients all look good quality and super fresh. The staff were also lovely and very helpful.

Fantastic find!

Down for ‘ Let’s Rock’ & staying locally with my son. Decided to take a break from the festival & have a’light bite’. Full vegetarian meal with all side dishes ( including chapati & pappadom) was enough for 3 of us!!. All freshly cooked & we enjoyed every mouthful of our food. How they do it for the low prices they charge, I do not know. 😊

Not delivering to SO18

Myself son and daughter have been using this takeaway for years and when I moved to Wide lane 7 years ago they were still delivering to me. At the weekend it was my birthday so we phoned for a large delivery only to be told we dont deliver to SO18. I tried to explain that they had always delivered to me but the man I spoke with was extremely rude and just put the phone down on me. I was really upset and my son and daughter were angry with his attitude. If they had said sorry due to cost of petrol we no longer delivery there, or they could add a delivery charge that would be fair enough. There is no need to treat customers so disrespectfully.

awful place please avoid

awful experience order totally wrong , had loads of buckshot in my lamb balti which tells me not humanly killed ,must be done illegal spoke to the chef really not interested I'm only the chef attitude, after complaining was told a new delivery was on it's way but didn't want it went down to see them in person and was totally ignored, please dont try this place I'm going to Packard this place place as it's a joke

Having moved out of the area 7 years ago, and regular customers previously, enjoying our favourite take away was just heaven and well worth the 14 mile round trip to collect it. The best out there by far.

Love the Indian takeaway from Bangla Balti House. One of the best we ever eaten. Is a family run business and the staff there are always very helpful and friendly with their customers.

Excellent Indian Takeaway

I have been using this takeaway as my one of choice in Southampton for some2-years: the cooking is fresh and the portions are generous. I like the chicken biriyani, the jalfrezi, the mixed grill tandoori and the Baltic especially. The prices are good too. The two guys cooking and serving are friendly and the order is on time when you phone in advance. It’s a 10/10 on quality and value for money. A big choice of dishes from an extensive menu. In the evening there is ample parking, you just turn left on Winchester Road and take the first left psst the bathroom showroom: shop .

We've missed you!!

Lovely meal, just as we remembered as regulars before moving away. Four years since our last meal with this restaurant and they still remembered us. The high standards are still there and the service is excellent. Best wishes to the elderly gentleman on his well deserved retirement.
