Found it friendly quirky and good coffe. I like very dark roasts but can appreciate a nice smooth americano
My wife loved the americano
It's a bit young hipster and definitely LGBT friendly, we are neither but were made most welcome
Cakes looked good ( and I am a Baker) but didn't try as had only just had breakfast. We will be back

Expresso kitchen is a true gem, offering the best coffee in town. I have tried their overnight oats with all the yummy toppings this morning and my verdict is truly scrumptious. My husband loves their carrot cake; actually all the cakes are always fresh. If you are in town don’t go back home without dropping into Espresso kitchen.

Cosy little spot for the best coffee in town centre, skilled baristas and genuine passion for coffee.
Had my coffe here several times, good sourced foods and homebake cakes, to not forget local sourced coffee from Peru and Mexico, perfectly brewed from an Italian LaMarzocco coffee machine. Creamy cappuccinos, flat whites, rich in
taste are a must, many other drink options are available too. Busyy between 10am-15pm time, therefore I recommend 8am-15pm for a walk in for accomodating yourself in the comfy space upstairs, for take aways, it is worthy waiting for it.

Quirky, individual, good service, charming little coffee shop, at the top of Commercial Road, near KFC and the Triangle area of town.
Just a few cosy seats, we overlooked the street, drank lovely coffees and shared a yummy slice of chocolate and banana cake.
Love it here... and loved the oh-so-chilled background music too :)

I love it here! I visit every time I come to Bournemouth which isn't often so coming here is a must. I love independent coffee houses but this is in my top 3 in the UK and I have been to alot!
Lovely staff, great food and amazing coffee. I love the art house feel and decor and the fact that you can graffiti (with chalk). Who doesn't love a positive affirmation or quote while they're drinking their coffee?
I was very happy to bring my son here for some quality teenage time and a new York style bagel. Thank you for your fabulousness

A hidden rare gem in bournemouth - the design of this place is amazing, such a cool unique vibe and the coffee is great. Staff were amazing and the cozy upstairs seating is the best place to chill with friends or get some work done. Wish I'd found out about it earlier.

Weary from a morning of shopping, I popped into here for a pastrami bagel and a latte. The bagel was tasty and the coffee was superb. Both served with a friendly smile. Great to support an independent enterprise that has the substance as well as the style. Everyone welcome here - the inclusive flag adorning the counter a welcome addition. Highly recommend. 🙂

It was just for a short coffee break.
But in the end, it was a very good memory of an excellent coffee.
It should be noted that the service is friendly and efficient in a good atmosphere in a well-designed room.
In summary, I recommend this excellent cafe.

What a lovely first visit to Espresso Kitchen last week.
Friendly welcome, Covid-aware, fab coffee, friendly service, quirky decor, good value and lovely vibe.
We sat at a 1st floor window table...perfect for watching the bustling world go by below.
Access and ground floor are on the level, narrow winding stairs to the 1st floor, a couple of small pavement tables too.
The vibe here is fantastic, thanks to the lovely staff and informal decor.
We loved it!

I've been having coffee and the occasional cake here for years. Defo the best coffee in town and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It has many regulars and is a very friendly environment.
It's nearly opposite a Starbucks, which bizarrely, still gets customers - I guess they don't like good coffee!

A quaint little coffee shop situated just where that one sloped street ends and the triangle begins. amazing mocha and biscoff cake was the stuff of dreams. very very lovely barista, thank you very much !!

Stumbled across this great little place while wandering around Bournemouth. Coffee was top class. We also had a bagel each and cake. The bagels were generously filled, I had the vegan one with houmous, sun dried tomato and olive. Not a filling I would have chosen but worked really well. The almond croissant was the best I have ever had. There was marzipan inside and topping it. Best of all it wasn’t particularly expensive. Definitely no more than the inferior chains nearby. If you love your coffee, worth a visit. Theres a few seats downstairs and more upstairs.

Still after Legendary Tommy G has taken over I hardly go to any other coffee place, I met him 3 years ago and still he brews the best coffee in town

As always super nice coffee from barista Tommy G (best in the BCP), nice music to make the enviroment a sociable experience often with the possibility for a chat with locals and regulars. Consistent high quality coffee, new on menu a blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian coffee which amazed me. I do recommend to have a visit
