Advised to book a fable by a student we booked a table (has to be before 6.30pm). It was a Saturday afternoon and very busy. When we first arrived struggled to find a member of staff to ask about our table. Went upstairs but couldn't...More

I took my daughter and three student friends here for a pizza. The bar is quaint, in a used, old, dimly lit, ancient kind of way - I wouldn’t trust the 6 second floor rule here if I dropped any food on it though! Pizza’s...More

I love the old fire house... and everyone else in Exeter does! So bring a book or a few friends and be ready to wait for your food. They must cook it from scratch according to how long it takes for it to be served....More

Great place to socialise in the evening, have a great selection of beers / ciders and everything else. A really lively bar which is great for drinking and is open late. Oh, they also do Pizzas which are fantastic.

Yes, we did and they put our name on the table. Literally.... they wrote our name in chalk on the table top. Quite a funny quirk!
