Food was decent and tasty for a sandwich to drop by as a take-away, but the whole place is really minute and I wouldn't really recommend sitting in. It's hard to have a conversation that isn't overheard and vice versa. I mean it's not like...More

Glad you enjoyed the food. We do have more tables upstairs, away from the door but not necessarily any further away from chattering customers. Thanks for dragging us down the trip advisor rating board by docking us stars for our size.

The lady serving was extremely friendly and accommodating to find us a table. A small coffee shop with a good price menu for the food, although we didn't eat, we had a lovely espresso and latte.

On a small, central but quiet street, wedged between a church & a secondhand bookshop we chanced upon this café. Sandwiches, toasties, great homemade soup, biscuits and cakes are on offer here. It is quirky and cosy, the staff are kind & helpful. Indoor (mostly...More

Great little cafe serving excellent cappuccinos in cosy surroundings with friendly staff. Combined with a visit to The Haunted Bookshop just next door for a wonderful selection of secondhand children's fiction, it offers the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

By wonderful surprise we found this hidden gem in an alley across the street from the front of King's College. Very small but the quirky atmosphere and the super friendly staff along with very good service made up for it. The food was excellent and...More

Indigo is the cutest little cafe and a real gem in Cambridges crown. The staff are exceptionally friendly and warm which makes me want to visit again and again. I wouldn't have my coffee anywhere else.

Visited this cafe several when in town. It is small and cozy. Lovely place to chill and have a snack. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and efficient. Plenty of choice for drinks and food.

A small cafe which would be absolutely fine in its own right. However, the staff are obstinate and rude. They constantly badger customers about "moving to other tables" to accommodate other groups that come in. When we come in to have a coffee, we will...More

Relieved to hear you won't visit again! What a nasty customer you were. After 50 minutes nursing your one coffee at lunchtime, with your laptop taking up our largest table, I asked you to consider moving to a smaller table so that we could accommodate...More

Really great coffee, dispensed by extremely proficient barista's (thank you Stuart for another reviving and delicious latte). Lovely relaxed atmosphere and excellent soup and paninis. Extremely surprised by negative reviews regarding size, which is as we all know not everything. This café proves that it...More

I have to agree with previous reviewers - this place is just too small. If someone upstairs needs to leave everyone has to get up and make way. There's even a table precariusly perched at the head of the stairs, hard to believe that someone...More

Why oh why leave a negative review based on the size of the venue?!? Goodness.

We're a tiny, independent coffee house in central Cambridge, we serve freshly prepared sandwiches, ciabattas, bagels, salads and soups. Because we make food to order, you can get an overfilled ciabatta with bacon, stilton, chutney and salad...or just a grated cheese sandwich with no crusts for your toddler. We also love coffee, and we have lots of different sized cups in which to sell it to you. We like to chat, and we especially like nice customers who don't mind sharing their table. We don't have wi-fi and we can't take cards, so bring some cash and come and say hello.
