We had heard about this place from a few people but had never visited. So glad we have now and can't believe we waited so long. Great pub with lots of history, yummy food and lovely to be able to sit outside to eat.

Great stopover pub on the way to or from Northland. Pub meals are nice although a bit pricey. Always good to sit outside for an ale and bite to eat. The bar room is fill of interesting artifacts and mementos..
