We were in Levuka on a public holiday so all restaurants were closed however we got lucky as this restaurant was open. The owner, Kinman, was short of staff but still opened and cooked meals himself! He was very generous and kind to us as we arrived at 8pm which was their closing time and I remember he saying that he would never let a visitor to the island go hungry. We ordered mixed fruit smooth, fish curry and vegetarian stir fry. The food was excellent, fish and veggies were super fresh and the dishes were very tasty. We had a great time at that dinner and met and chatted a few a locals eating their. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Kim's has nice Chinese food. Night time menu is really nice. And you can order takeaway, but they close at 8pm, so get in early. Nice to be upstairs, and they have a covered porch with views out to the sea and main street. Decent food, cute atmosphere.

Stopped by for a much needed bite with workmates. Went in with rather low expectations but surely came out delightful. Food and service were both amazing.

We walked along the length of Beach Street several times without seeing this Chinese restaurant, eventually we found it over our heads and were very glad we did. Great food and great service.

Situated above the old New South Wales Bank (now Westpac) in Beach Street, we highly recommend this restaurant. A must have is Kim's excellent dish of fish and Chinese vegetables cooked to perfection with cashew nuts, followed by a delicious fruit smoothie while enjoying the sea breeze from the ocean opposite.

Really yummy chilli chicken. Staff are super friendly, and the balcony is a cute place to sit. It's good mix of locals and tourists. We ate here 3 times during our stay in Levuka - lunch once, and dinner twice - and the food was always good.

My son lives in Levuka now and this is his favorite restaurant. About 15 minutes or so after taking our order, our waitress brought over a bottle of wine and beer for us. She told us she was sorry that our food was going to take a bit longer than expected. So nice! Our meals turned out delicious and fresh tasting. We also noticed the table next to us ordered pizza and what looked like chicken wings!

This Chinese restaurant is one the strip of Levuka's and close to the noisy diesel generator station. This means that the four tables on the covered balcony on the first floor is exposed to the noise. The food was good. The restaurant does not have an alcohol licence but offered to go and buy what you want from the supermarket next door. During a Wednesday night the place at 8 PM was fairly busy with about 8 of 12 tables taken. The waitress was attentive and the food arrived quickly. A nice meal for FJ$ 15 in downtown Levuka

Went there 3 nights in a row and can't fault the food and service. The window seats provide the best views of the harbour and comes with the sea breeze - free of charge - 😊

Probably the best food in Levuka town, but I have to say that the food was average. The one thing that was amazing was the fresh homemade sweet chili sauce--perhaps the best I have ever tasted. The staff was also very friendly and so nice.

It's the location and the people that really make this place. As the rain set in for our stay it became our local hangout. We'd get the beer in from the supermarket next door, ice it down in the deep in the morning then head back at lunch time and proceed to watch the world go by from the upstairs built in balcony. Don't rely on the blackboard menu, they can pretty much make whatever you want. It can take some time tho, so do order earlier rather than later.

We always had a good meal. The staff are very friendly and always happy. We went there a few times while we were in Levuka. It's in the middle of the town so it's easy to find and it's upstairs .

Honestly the Westernised Chinese food (not Thai-influenced as some guidebooks mentioned) deserves 3-star rating. Compared with American-Chinese restaurants, Kims Paak Kum Loong isn't that bad especially when you're in the middle of nowhere, but for us the chili and garlic chicken could be more tasty/spicy (don't order beef as quality is generally low across Fiji.) Then why did we give this shabby spot run by native Fijians a 4-star rating? Well, it offers the best people-watching in town. You can relax by the verandah and watch half of the town heads home from the tuna factory. Price isn't outrageous either, perhaps explaining why many locals come to chill out (and sing) over a drink (avoid orange juice though). The restaurant doesn't sell alcohol but, when asked, can get beer for you. Dinner here is a dream out of a novel.
