The food was good, but the service was excellent. Not sure but I think we got the manager to serve us as it was an enjoyable experience. This gentleman was setting up the continental breakfast area and training a new staff member. He was an exceptional server both attentive and not overbearing. As for the Monte Carlo continental breakfast there is a hot option too, nothing exceptional about this.

Very nice

Small simple but adequate menu. The bruschetta is very nice. The salmon was good with a solid champagne sauce. The spaghetti with meat sauce is nice. Certainly worth a visit especially if you are staying at the hotel.

We were visiting and staying at the Monte Carlo Downtown. The manager Jenna was fantastic making us feel special. The food made by Chef Randy was unbelievable!Thank you so much Jenna and Chef Randy for making our night special.Highly recommended! Mike and Lisa

Open mic night was great, as was the service and food. The bar manager provided excellent service and socialization. I would definitely come back again.

Fantastic service and food

Great food and drinks, lots of options for both! Favourite appetizer was bang bang shrimp. Our server, Lesa, was fantastic! So friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Came to Markham for medical treatment. Good repeat experience at Monte Carlo. Nice room, great staff, good food, pleasant staff (Jenna is awesome!)

Excellent Food and Service

I was in Markham on business and decided to stay at the Warden Monte Carlo Inn.I have stayed in the past at this hotel prior to covid, I was surprised that the restaurant is now under the hotel ownership.Jenna and her staff are doing a great job.The menu is great and I give praise to the chef.Keep up the good work. Could not leave less than one star

Ordered room service at 9:00 pm ( they are open until midnight ). Waited and after 45 minutes called down to the front desk and was told they decided to close early - THEY FORGOT THE ORDER. Totally incompetent. I then took a closer look at their reviews and now I understand - DON’T TRY TO EAT HERE!

Unfortunately our dinning experience was TERRIBLE!!! We made reservations for 30 people prior to our stay. Upon arrival at the restaurant there was 1 staff member working?? Anyone that wanted a drink had to go up to the bar & order. We ended up waiting over 1.5hours to get our food. Meals were coming out 1 plate at a time with prolonged periods with nothing?? No one was able to eat together 👎

Wonderful Food!

We were at the hotel for a meeting/convention, and catering was done by the restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the service. The staff were very attentive, and any problems/issues were dealt with immediately. Highly recommended!

Lunch Date With My Girls

I had a great time. I went with 2 of my girls and we were all pleased and satisfied. And I must say, I never liked creme brulee until this restaurant, bravo lol. My appetizer, main meal and desert was yummy and I will most definitely be returning. It’s worth the travel, and the customer service/servers were excellent and hilarious.

Excellent Easter long weekend Lunch

My friends and I decided to come to Menaggio for a late lunch during Easter long weekend. We had a fabulous time catching up as we enjoyed great service and great food. We all loved the creme brûlée and we will definitely be coming back.

Amazing Food & Great Service

I came here with my boyfriend and was not disappointed in the least. The waitstaff were very friendly and polite and took great care of us throughout our dinner. Our glasses were always filled, food came out hot and quick, and everything tasted delicious! I come from an Italian background and am usually hesitant to order Italian food from restaurants, but this restaurant delivered authentic, delicious, flavourful pasta that I would order again. I also have food intolerances and the staff was very kind in explaining my options on the menu and catering to my needs. My boyfriend had a hamburger and for someone who doesn’t typically finish his food, he ate every bite! We were so pleased with the food, we actually came back the next morning for breakfast and were happily surprised to see it was continental all you can eat. Everything was absolutely exquisite and we will definitely be back!
