Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I used to go a lot in Highschool, it's a great place for boardgames and catching up with friends while testing out a different amount of games! I even heard they have Mahjong now!

Awesome Cafe. Enjoyed the time playing games with friends and drinking a mango slush. Would definitely recommend.

(see what I did there? I'm hilarious!)
Anyways, this a cool place to play some games with friends and have bubble tea or some delicious desserts.
The later in the night you go, the louder it will be as people who play Settlers Of Catan get very rowdy very quickly!
If they added some great coffee drink options, I could live here and become the Scrabble champion I was destined to be.

Used to be a great place with great service, but my most recent experience with them was less than stellar.
My friends and I called ahead to reserve a table, and the waitress told us that she would reserve a table but only for 30minutes. We got there in 15 minutes and she told us that she gave our table away. To add insult to injury, after waiting 20 minutes and snagging the first table we saw, she told us we couldn’t sit at that table for long since it was a large table (a table for 6 and we had 4 people in our group) so we would have to relocate once a smaller table opened up.
The only good part about the subpar service was that she took so long to even come over and take our order (45 minutes) that we almost didn’t have to buy anything (usually you are required to buy something every 3hours)
Finally, upon cashing out, when I went to leave a tip, I decided to leave a tip less than 10%. After I paid and everything, she proceeded to tell me that I had to pay at least a 10% extra tip, and made me pay the rest of the tip in cash to make up for whatever I didn't tip. I asked why they didn’t just add in an extra service charge of 10% on so that everyone has to at least tip 10%, but they just stared at me and didn't answer.
So all in all, go in with low expectations for service, but hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did.

If you want to pay 6 dollars for 3 hours of board game time waste, this is definitely your place to be. Lots of choices for games and drinks are good. Social fun.

If you want to relax and look for a place to chill with other friends. This is the place to be. You have to order drinks in order to stay, but price isn't that bad. $5 and you can stay for 2 hours to play any board game they have to offer, it's not a bad deal. Besides they have so many board games you can choose from you won't be able to play any in 2 hours. They also have MahJong and kill time.

This place was loaded with all sorts of Asian board games including several MJ tables. Beautiful interior and nice service.

We were a group of five and were the first customers on the labour day weekend. We had to wait awhile for our orders to be taken although there weren't anyone else in the cafe. We ordered bubble tea and had to wait over 20 mins for our order to be completed. Once we received the drinks, some weren't properly made and the server came and said that they made a mistake with some and had to remake them. We had ordered a few avocado milkshakes mango milkshakes and taro bubble tea, and none if it tasted as we had expected. The selection of board games were poor. Most of the games were targeting Chinese customers and a very few were in English. Of the ones that were in English, most didn't even have the instruction sheet. They do have mahjong tables but none of the servers or the manager seem interested in showing us how to play. Minimum order per person is $3.99 and almost every single item in the menu was over priced. A small avocado milkshake cost $6.00. Expect the atmosphere to be overly loud. The low point of our experience was towards the end when we paid the bill. The manager complained to us saying we didn't pay him a larger tip and told us we "have" to pay a tip and that it's customery to pay 15-20% tip. Of course, I don't think they deserved such a tip based on their service and we certainly do not HAVE to pay any tip if we choose not to. It was quite sad that they didn't accept what we gave them out of good faith and complained about it and was demanding a larger tip. Unless you read a Chinese language, there's not enough games for non-Chinese customers. Overall, really poor experience. I rather go to snakes and lattes in downtown toronto.

It's a quite unique place for you to hang out with your friends and family. The services are friendly and the food or drink are excellent! They provide quite large selection of board games for customers to play. It's all free!! The waiter or waitress can help you with the rules if you dont know how. Great place to go and enjoy the fun!
