Nice place in darling harbour with friendly staff. Had a classic chicken sandwich and it was nice. Chicken was a bit dry, but expected in a sandwich. The sauce used was good.

Nice spot in the markets to grab a sandwich en route to the Seabus. The Grilled Cheese sandwich - with gruyere and french bread - was super tasty. Nice friendly staff who are happy to have a chat while you wait.

We didn't notice this place for a while as it is very small place and easy to walk by. Little counter available for you to dine in or you can order to go. They even have local brewed beer on tap. Their sandwich is really...good (nice gourmet hot sandwich ). Nice of owner (who is also cook) to bring out the sandwich and have beer and chatted with us a bit. Wish they start providing nice sides too rather than bag of chips, pepperoni stick etc. Haven't had a chance to go back yet but if I am in the area definitely going back!More

The word 'The' in the name of the business was gone and a chalk sign had the name Seds. Anyway...I was sitting in the common area facing this shop and the Roast Turkey Sandwich on the menu just seemed to call my name and I...eventually gave in and bought one! It was really terrific and was made with cranberry pistachio bread. The accompanying pickle was crisp and full of flavour. I had the sandwich and a drink for about $14.More

I have been staying above the market all week and this shop is closed...no sign...haven't seen anyone there at all. Real disappointment since they were rated so highly.

Tucked slightly further into the Lonsdale Quay marketplace, The Sandwich Shop has become one of my favourite places to grab lunch en route to class! My favourite so far is the Prosciutto Panini. Made fresh, the prosciutto is paired with pesto sauce, bocconcini, arugula and...truffle oil. It isn't too heavy and is the perfect size to leave you satisfied for the remaining hours of your work day. Looking forward to trying out the rest of their menu!More

Ordered the pulled pork on ciabatti bread and chicken pannini. Service was quick and the sandwiches were delish. Good value.

Went for lunch to Lonsdale Quay Market, chose The Sandwich Shop an ordered a Chicken Breast Panini. Fresh made and nice served, the panini tasted awesome. Definitely gonna come back to try some of the other sandwiches and paninis they have!

I was at a festival close to the Lonsdale Quay and one of my friends recommend this place. I can say with a confidence that this sandwich is a hidden gem on the North Shore. Food: They make the sandwich right in front of you...and it is always fresh and tasty. the portion size isjust right...not too much bread and not too much dressing. Service: they are really friendly and fast. I totally recommend this place and if ever I want to have sandwich I go back to this place. Recommendation: try beet salad, it is one of the best.More

I tried several of their sandwiches and they were all pretty good. The prosciutto with pesto and mozzarella was one of my favorites but the prochetta and the korean short rib ones were super tasty too! Fresh and filling!
