The service was relaxed and comfortable. The food was nice, the venue fresh and airy. But the best part is getting a seat in the window where you can watch the goings on - great spot on a blustery day to while away a few hours. Liked the poached salmon salad.

Dixie Brown's breakfast specials are good value for money! Lovely location in Devonport just a short walk from the Ferry Terminal. They have eggs cooked the way one likes them served on hot buttered toast. And there is a nice ice cream parlour next door under the same management.

There are several places to choose from in Devonport but this seemed to fit the bill. A wide range of menu choices and very reasonable prices when compared with its large neighbour, Auckland. Good quality food, decent portion sizes and adequate service.

Called in for lunch on a Sunday, they were very busy but great atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Served by Joe. The steak and mushroom pies were beautifully cooked and tasted great. The menu is quite extensive from light lunches to full meals and the prices are not over the top..

Food was okay, pretty extensive menu. Service was horrific. I had to chase someone down to take a drink and food order. Platters came out with no plates or saucers to eat off. Server was rude. Had to try and find someone to pay and leave. Has a lot of potential, really hope they sort their staff out.

Hopping in during my stay in The Pacific Apartment for breakfast. Portion wide it's just right for me but everything is not of very high standard except the hush browns. It's not very thick with an extremely crispy outside, it's the first thing that I finished in the plate. Drinks are lovely and cappuccino, smoothie and even hot chocolate are... More

We eat out a lot, the food was nice, but the service was unbelievable, none of the staff had a smile on their faces, they came took our order, never spoke, smiled nothing. A few days later were in the area again so we said maybe a one of, will try again, no same thing. Saw two couples get up... More

Being just across the road from the Devonport Ferry Terminal this an an ideal spot to stop for a coffee or Lunch before visiting the local attractions . The Coffee was good & the All Day Breakfast good value but not exciting .The Café was busy but staff seemed to be handling the pressure pretty well .

Service was excellent as was pineapple lump milk shake and main meals. The menu was wide ranging which often leads to mediocre food but they seemed to manage excellent food. Decor was quite formal and interesting. Visited with two young children.
