Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped for a coffee - the cappuccino was great, and burgers looked awesome as well! Nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop!

Stopped here on the drive from Te Anau to Queenstown for brunch with my family. Definitely worth the stop, food & coffee were great, not overpriced like some places in NZ. .

Great find. We had stopped at the Hunny Shop and found this place next door which made the stop worthwhile. We tried a few of their sandwiches and they were so tasty. The lamb burger was my favourite. Hubby liked the pulled pork and the...teenager reckoned that the vegetable one was best as it had a tasty chutney. Worth making it a lunch stop !More

Unbeatably excellent coffee and very good and wholesome NZ country-style food. A welcome relief to find a good breakfast place early in the morning.

Great coffee and tasty breakfast items in rural Garston on the South Island - great place to stop on the way from/to Milford Sound or Te Aneau and Queenstown. We were there first thing in the morning, so no crowd, but they do cook most...items to order so there can be a bit of a wait. The staff are friendly and work hard. Charming little place to take a break, refuel yourself with coffee and a hot sandwich, and chill.More

Really disappointed with our visit today. They are charging an extra $1.20 for a alternate milk. This made a large oat latte over $8. That’s the most expensive coffee I have purchased in any cafe in NZ and this was a food truck. The coffee...was good though so pleased about that. We had also ordered a burger and a lamb sandwich. After waiting 35 mins I asked where it was and she hadn’t got the docket so no lunch and we took the refund. I appreciate they were busy but still a disappointing experience.More

The best breakfast and Flat White coffee I had on the road in New Zealand. Everything you order comes fresh from the owner's farm. Can't get any fresher.

We stopped here a couple of times on the way in and out of Queenstown. It’s a great place to stop. The silver airstream truck serves great burgers and muffins. There are public loos nearby and parking. It’s a great place for a short stop..

The coffee was really good and they have a surprising range of food available. Tables and chairs are set up in a small courtyard which is really nice. Public toilets that were lovely and clean and a kids playground close by also for the kids...to have a run around. A nice place to stop. There is a signboard for Garston with a bit of history which is quite interesting.More
