Ordered take away but pretty appalled at the use of plastic and polystyrene in their packaging. There are PLENTY of recycled/recyclable food packaging options available but no effort to source or use these. We are local and live in the area but won’t be ordering...take away again until they change their packaging 😡😡😡More

Hello Torview. If you had taken the time to look on the bottom of the containers you would have seen that they are indeed recyclable as well as having many reusable purposes. We recently trialled biocane containers but the bottoms became soggy after a while...More

When our motelier effusively recommended the Thai around the corner, I was a bit skeptical, but he was 100% correct - I've lived in NZ for 25 years, and without doubt this is the best Thai I've had in all that time, simple as that....Our kids loved it too. The flavor of the food was beautiful, and it was nice to see them using good quality meat rather than doing the usual thing of going cheap. This may be a little bit out in the boondocks, but I'd honestly recommend making the trek off the beaten track for this one.More

We shared the adamame beans and prawn cashew stir fry with two serves of rice. With wine our meal was excellent. Friendly service and cosy atmosphere, with plenty of cold water.

This little gem was within walking distance of our holiday rental. We did not have a reservation and were greeted very warmly. Service was excellent, with our water always being filled. We had the honey garlic ribs as a starter, then Pad Thai and a...Stir Fry. All EXCELLENT!! Portions were very generous. The wine was excellent and reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to recomend Thai2go!More

Not that I ate in any of the others, but if this isn't the best, then the others must be pretty incredible. I went there on a very busy evening, but the staff were able to accommodate me and the wait was nowhere near as...long as they had led me to expect. And the green curry was one of the best I've ever had.More

Our booked table was ready when we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly smiling staff who showed us to the table. our orders, food and beverage, were taken and served promptly by the pleasant friendly staff. Food was excellent, tasty and good quantity. We...had pork and chicken dishes. The restaurant is very clean, simple but effective decor and the kitchen staff are obviously very hygiene conscious as they were all wearing face masks and matching uniforms which were clean. Very pleasant experience and recommended to all.More

We were welcomed by a smile, lovely front desk service. Impressed to see the restaurant full and were advised of a wait for our meal. That’s a good sign it’s so popular! Loved my red duck curry & hubby liked his beef massaman. Will definitely...return.More
