This is a caravan, or perhaps more properly described as a food truck parked on the road in Waikawa. It’s run by two local ladies serving essentially good quality fish and chips and some burgers. Their shop (which is a more conventional building) also sells...ice creams, lollies, fruit and the like. But it’s the fish and chip venture that brings people into what passes for a settlement. Really the only other thing here is the museum. We had blue cod and chips and that was great. Ate them sitting in the car as there was a bit of a biting wind at the time, and others were in the old bus shelter where there was a table to assist diners. Overall a good experience.More
