Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Reefton on a Saturday night looking for a good value feed, this is the place to go. The burger was good and the chip were great!

What a lovely shop, friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and homemade. If you like your pie's and homemade cakes this is the place to go to.

This cafe offers a range of wholesome and tasty pies, and was a welcome stop in the iconic former gold mining town of Reefton. We had been driving through the Lewis Pass on our way to the West Coast, and chose Nana Ni's simply because...it seemed so busy. I'm told that the pies are all home made, and very good they were too. Contrary to some other reviews our fresh brewed tea and flat white coffee were just the job.More

Packed full with fresh salad, onion, coleslaw, sauce, hash brown, fried egg and cheese. Piping hot and totally delicious. Highly recommend.

Nana Ni's wasn't opened when we stood staring in the window at the full pie cabinet on New Years Day. The person in the shop saw us and opened up and sold us delicious pies - even though we were an hour or two before...opening. Now that's service - and was much appreciated.More

The worst flat white coffee we have ever had. It tasted like instant, extremely strong and extremely hot. Not creamy in any way. Avoid this place!

Of the various eating places on Reefton’s Broadway, this cafe seemed to have the biggest selection of food. Quality was also very good.

Unusual for much of the character of the town, this establishment did not appear to be too interested in making a visit welcoming. Small array of options available.

Stopped for diner on a long drive. Classic kiwi burgers and fish and chips. Ingredients were fresh and high quality. Execution was spot on. A high quality example of the genre. Cheers guys.

Popped in for lunch. I enjoyed a taste sensation a lasagne pie. Wow. Kids enjoyed a BBQ pie and a steak pie all delicious. Milkshakes best in town.

Working hard at providing meals for travellors. I had fish and a salad and hubby had a berger and chips. I had some of his chips. The salad was good but the fish was disappointing. A bit overcooked. Chips tasted good.
