I work nearby and love to pop in for a quick, Mediterranean meal! The atmosphere is airy, staff is attentive, menu selection is great and meal sizes generous and great value!
Perfect place to eat for everyone and anyone for solo, families, chilled vibe!

We are staying nearby and were looking for tea and were actually heading to Wetherspoons. We stopped and it looked quite charming, the food looked reasonably priced so we decided to give it a go. My husband and I ordered the gyros plate and were not disappointed. We got chicken gyros, chips, tzsatsiki, salad and a pitta bread. It was delicious and a bargain at ÂŁ7.50. Our 5 year old ordered a chicken and ham pizza and it was topped with the same chicken. I was worried she wouldn't eat it but she said it was the best pizza ever! At ÂŁ10 a head the food was fab. Hubby had a Mythos and they had some other Greek beers, I had a rose wine and it was lovely. Would definitely visit again if nearby. Was really busy and there was a constant stream of deliveries.

I called in with friends this Sunday asked the staff for advice on Greek food for five people, we shared a Feast for Two platter which was four skewers of chicken, Greek sausage. lamb chops, Greek salad, tyrokafteri dip and pitta bread, a side order of Greek Lamb chops, salad, chips and pitta bread.
The food was delicious and ore than generous servings, there was that much we took home a box of food, we had two glasses of wine, two Mythos beer and a sparkling water.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. all in all a great day out and a return visit is planned we enjoyed it that much.

Ilirian Greek Taske is my number on choice because the food is delicious and the staff know how to make your experience a great one everyone, they are lovely people. The prices are very reasonable, the food is freshly made, good quality and very tasty that's why I keep going back. Its a great choice for a rainy sunday afternoon, friday night meal out out to go to eat on your own. I highly recommend a visit if you haven't tried it yet!

Two of us went for Saturday lunch and nearly all the tables were full. I had chicken souvlaki and my husband had mixed gyros, the meat was slightly dry in both but the bread was very tasty. We then had a piece of orange cake each, trying to recreate the one we had in Athens which was supremely awesome. This was ok, nice and moist but nothing special and expensive at ÂŁ4 for a small piece. The staff were very nice.

Good value for money , chicken gyros and pepperoni pizza was tasty, I’ve had orange pie at the end, which was delicious. You can even order greek soft drinks or beers. I’d definitely go back for another round

Food was delicious and the service was amazing!! We had a delivery from just eat with missing items and the owner opened the kitchen, cooked the food and personally brought it us. The food was worth the wait.
Great little restaurant and take away in Eccles. We will be ordering again soon.

This place has had some great reviews elsewhere so we decided to get a takeaway. Never again. Food was mostly stone cold. It doesn't have a vast menu, and none of what you'd expect from genuine Greek food, none of the wonderful tasty stews and dishes Greece is famous for. It's really just a little cafe offering kebabs like a hundred other take aways in the area.
We ordered some kind of pie...God knows what it was but it was flat and hard and inedible. The salad was just chunks of cucumber and tomato with olives and feta and a few peppers. All chucked together in box with a handful of dried up tepid chicken kebab pieces. The hummus and Tzatziki came in tiny pots, not enough for one person never mind two.
I really want to support this newly opened Greek cafe but I can't because the food was so bad. I'm guessing that this is probably a place you to at lunch time when everything is busy and being freshly cooked. But don't order after 6pm because it seemed all we got was the left over dregs.
Greece is one of my favourite destinations, and I've yet to find any Greek eatery in the UK that matches the excellence of their cuisine. We had a bit of hope for this place but alas, it's going down the cheap route of a bog standard takeway that might be any kind of Med food, but certainly not authentic Greek.

Order this from Uber eats for a delivery but wouldn’t let me write a review on there. Food is amazing always comes well sealed piping hot, fresh and tasty. I love the chicken and pork gyros platters. Totally transports me back to greece. Lovely takeout for those summer nights in the garden with a mythos!

Food was so gorgeous and each thing we tried was super tasty and cooked too perfection. We all really enjoyed it. Service was amazing, waitress was really kind, attentive and funny. Would recommend too anyone, atmosphere was good too.

A lovely welcome when we dropped in. Good Greek (and Italian too!) food. Place was clean, with pleasant decor. We only dropped in for snacks, but we could see on other tables that the portions were good. The Ilirian is squeezed between a Morrison's (probably with a cafe) and a Wetherspoon's - as visitors to Eccles, we made the right choice by going into the Ilirian.
And the bill. How much? Or should I say, how little!

A quick little meal after work turned into a trip to a Greek taverna, in the middle of Eccles ( not known for its cuisine ) we found this lovely place . Authentic Greek food all freshly made ,great service ,gorgeous food ,reasonably priced wine . They said please come back as we left and absolutely will . The best !

Wow we really enjoyed our meal here this evening. Chicken gyros, Greek wine, beer and baked feta with tomato. All very delicious. Huge portion with lots of chicken and fries. Definitely worth a visit. Friendly staff. Lovely and clean too. We will be back.

All I can say is wow. Been meaning to visit here for a while and I’m so glad I did.
My sister ordered the Greek salad and I ordered the chicken gyro, portion sizes were really good and the food delicious.
Will 100% be back here!

We had Pork and a Halloumi Gyros in the ilirian Greek Taste Church Street Eccles,
This place is gorgeous I have been here loads of time and the Quality and price is fantastic.
The staff are very plesant and the place is spotlessly clean.
Great Food at a Great price .
This little Greek oasis is like being on holiday
I highly recommend it.
