Dont even think about going here for morning tea it was awful the staff were very nice but the muffins were hard, cold and served with no butter. The coffee was luke warm and they didn't offer to do anything about it when we complained. The tables and chairs were tatty and need replacing.

Service was excellent, the wait person didn't need to write our order down and got it all correct with a smile

Had a hearty breakfast with a cappuchino at this bar/restaurant almost every morning. Freshly made to my liking, friendly staff. Reasonably priced and nicely presented.

I can't really give a review on food as we never got any ! Went there on a quiet week day afternoon for coffee and possibly lunch. After waiting 15 minutes to be spoken to, acknowledged or offered a drink, we left. Friday night we attempted to go for dessert. We were told to sit outside, even though there was... More

We were recently in Tutukaka when all power was shut down not only to the town but most of the north area of the north island because of bush fires. These guys still were able to put on meals. We had the cold meat platter and it was delicious. The service was great and the staff were very helpful and... More

The all day breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the friendly and casual atmosphere. It was nice sitting outside under the large shade umbrella, very relaxed.

Just popped in here yesterday for a late lunch. Welcomed warmly despite the late time. Beautiful location and the food was spot on. I had the kumara and chorizo croquettes, which were delicious and my husband had the baked Camembert which he pronounced delicious. Shame we weren't here for dinner - feel it would be superb!

Really enjoyed our meal here. Food was delicious and exactly what the waitress described and was not too expensive. The artichokes are divine. The fish of the day were small fillets but so was the $11 price and it was beautifully cooked. I had pan fried and my husband had battered. The big salad at $15 was enough for four... More

After a long drive I was happy to stay local for dinner. The fish, gurnard, was delicious served with salad and chips. I sat outside to enjoy the weather - plenty of seating both inside and outside. Service was good, as was the food but a bit pricy.
