Food is good value, beautifully prepared and delicious. The views from the club are lovely and the service is very good. The bar caters for all tastes.

We spent a weekend in Kawhia and dined here on Friday night. The food choice was very good and both our meals were very good. The helping of Nachos were massive and my fish burger was good.

Called into here after a day at the Kawhia kai festival. Good way to end a great day. The meals were excellent as well as the service. Will definitely go back next time I am in Kawhia

Great value food and drinks, a very friendly atmosphere and stunning scenery from the balcony. Open Fridays and Saturdays.

This is a typical NZ club atmosphere, rugby playing on the tv, jugs of beer and simple - food burgers and the like. Again Kawhia has great charm but this is no fine dining establishment. Set your expectations appropriately before entering and it will be...a pleasant night. The fisherman’s basket was all deep fried ( chips, fish, mussels, crab sticks) and rather greasy. There were doubtless other choices. We should have taken one of them.More

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night on our way for a weekend in Aotea Harbour. The food was very yummy, plentiful and great value. It did take a while for the food to be made but we were in no hurry so...did not matter at all. It was freshly made to order and was delicious. You can have a drink whilst you wait. Friendly place, lots of locals there which is always a good sign!More
