We keep going back there every trip, the food is divine and the service impeccable. It is a degustation menu and whilst here for 3 months we normally go once a month as the menu changes each month. Food and wine is included and should...u require a little extra food, there are extra servings provided at the table. A MUST DO!More

We were wandering around looking for a nice place for 6 of us to have some brunch and were so glad we chose to go in here. 2 of us ordered omelettes, which were lovely, and the remaining 4 ordered what I think was called...the Carpe Diem Breakfast. At 17.50 euros it was well worth it; they had a glass of orange juice, tea or coffee, a boiled egg, ham, cheese, breads of all sorts, jams, and a custard pastry slice (the custard slice was absolutely gorgeous). They also did a luxury version which included a glass of champagne. The service was very good, friendly and efficient. I would very much recommend the Carpe Diem to anyone. The bakery attached to the restaurant looked the best we'd seen on our visit to Bruges too.More

I called very last minute for a table reservation (at 5.30 PM for a table at 7.30 that same evening) and I had a very lovely lady confirming that this was not a problem at all. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we decided...to go for the proposed menu. It was simply delicious. The accompanying wines were not so tasty standalone, but they went really well with the dishes. The aperitif was really fresh and a true discovery and the dishes were beautiful and tasty. All of this combined with a very friendly maitre d'hotel and a sunshine of a waitress made this a magnificent evening for us.More

We wondered at where to have breakfast this morning, and we took a bit of stroll and turn down a small street we have not walked down before, and we found this cafe/reaturant with the best crispy waffle! I also order north sea shrimp omelette...for breakfast! You have to try this place. There is a bakery attached to the cafe too. It looks very good.More

We searched for Belgium Waffle and this one seemed to have one of the highest rating. We were not dissapointed. The waffle is puffy, and soft. One of the best breakfast we had. Would definitely visit it again

Regular visitors to Bruges, We enjoy visiting Carpe Diem for some lunch on our trips. We can usually just get in without booking. We like to sit in the conservatory part if available. Nice selection from their menu. The staff are always friendly and welcoming....On this occasion we had a cheese and a mushroom omelette, with some gorgeous cakes from their patisserie. Nice beers as well.More

We stumbled across this cafe/patisserie and were so pleased we did. The hot chocolate was to die for - a tall mug of hot frothy milk with a dark chocolate 'lolly' to dip in.Pure heaven. On the recommendation of the waiter we ordered a plate...of homemade pastries (more like the small cakes/desserts you would find on an afternoon tea tiered plate) and a plate of homemade biscuits. Beautifully presented and delicious. Thoroughly recommend.More
