Best sushi in Hawke’s bay

Have gone to sushi plus for sushi for years and have always been greeted with a smile and delish sushi! A wide range to choose from so can pick and choose what you want, and also have a few pre packaged ones if you’re on the go! 10/10 looove

This outlet is well located in the centre of the village with friendly service staff and a great selection of sushi made on site.

The late afternoon sushi wasn't as good as last time I purchased here

It's handy that sushi was still available late in the afternoon, but I really believe that the quality has dropped. I bought nine pieces and was asked if I wanted ginger, and wasabi. I replied yes please. But when we went to eat it only one of those small bottles of soy sauce was included which wasn't enough for the two of us.

Sushi Go To!

I always venture in for the taste of the sushi, it's so fresh it leaves you yearning for more. My 2 year old takes me in for her famous spring rolls and A tea party in the front of house (it's rather cute, although a little crammed for Adult legs😁

Food was good but very little room to eat in. Maybe more suited to locals getting takeaways. Service staff struggled with English.

Clean and delicious

The pros about this place are endless help your self bar a great idea can add sauces and pack into your container and then the food well divine sashimi and sushi indivuals all lovely presented and divine to eat.... Super friendly ladies and still probably the best sushi I have ever eaten

Very clean, attractive premises and attractively presented sushi

As a Japanese national living in Auckland, I can say that this is a truly worthwhile place to get one's sushi from - NOT a traditional purists' sushi 'restaurant', so don't expect this; but does have very attractively presented sushi with interesting and unusual combinations. Was open on a Saturday, which was really helpful. Lucky HN residents! BTW, more a 'cafe' feel than a 'restaurant' .

Awesome Local!

I have lunch here every second day (sometimes every day if I'm honest) since it's opening and highly recommend this as a great Sushi place. The owners are delightful and very friendly. They always give you something in addition, its super fresh and really tasty. They also support the local school by holding "Sushi Friday" which Miss 6 loves. There may be up to 400 orders to prepare that morning.
