Confession: I don’t do dumplings; I don’t like them. Was probably put off by a shopping mall experience. My daughter said that I had to try these and bought me the dumpling and Bao bun lunch. Both were superb: fresh, well presented, reasonably priced, and so very very tasty. Will certainly be back for more. Great service. Well worth the effort to find the kitchen if you are in Havelock North. You will not be disappointed.

Fresh and tasty bao buns. Good flavours and melt in the mouth tender. Delicious dumplings made for an overall great takeout dinner.

My daughter and I wanted to try something different so we headed to Ops Kitchen. We were very happy with what we ordered and everything was so tasty, hot and delicious. We ordered more before we left to take home. Yummy

Hands down best dumplings in HB either in their store or at the farmers market on Sunday. Op is a lovely person with great service.

Op has an amazing palate - every thing she makes is a perfect balance of spice, sweet, savoury. Ginger and chill with just enough punch to bring out the best in the chicken, pork or vegetable dumplings. And now for lunch you can have a light as air, Bao bun stuffed with fresh, crunchy vegetables and gooey spicy sauce plus 3 dumplings for just $14.95 ( I think!!) . So good AND you can buy the dumplings frozen to serve at home

This is a superb addition to the food scene in Havelock North. It is an Asian kitchen with limited seating and take aways. They have a limited menu but the food is beautifully cooked and presented. They have soups and a wide choice of the best dumplings. This is a good choice if you want a cheap, delicious meal or better than normal take aways.

Op is a lovely Thai woman, friendly and accomodating who seems to be an expert at least in the limited, almost minimalist menus she cooks. The food is delicious, well presented and at just the right temperature. The cafe has a few tables outside but only stools at window benches inside. It is a genuine kitchen, not a restaurant, small, modern clean and tidy. Very elegant but tiny. The place and the food seem more Japanese than Thai but no matter, it has amongst the best asian food in HB.

I love Asian food. I should have taken a picture, but was too hungry. I had Vegetarian lunch special- delicious fresh homemade dumpling and bao buns with yummy fillings. Just the right amount and well priced. Very clean and smiling friendly staff. Thank you, you made my day!

This is a hidden little gem but so worth visiting if you love fresh delicious asian food. Handmade dumplings with yummy fillings and bao buns.
Was well priced, quick and tasty. We arrived as a group of 10 hungry people, and they served and delivered food very quickly and it was great!
