Early evening visit with no particular expectations. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. They accidentally made too many drinks so gave them to us anyway.
The food was delicious; all freshly cooked and authentically Italian.
I can't praise this restaurant enough for the quality of service on a quiet Monday evening

La Luce is located directly across Steele Road from the hotel at which I was staying, so I walked over to this restaurant for supper. Though very understated from the outside, it is quite nicely appointed inside. The food and service are excellent. I had the special prosciutto, arugula and melon salad then the special veal parmigiana Alfedo. I great variation on the theme. Service started slow but was then very friendly and attentive.

What an excellent chance to find this restaurant, I wish I knew it earlier. Service is amazing, specially Violetta and Richard. The ambiance is so cozy and calm, music well chosen and the food is very good. The tables with thick white cotton cloth makes the experience even more exclusive.
Definitely this restaurant will be my place to go again and again.

My wife and I stopped at this delightful restaurant after a long drive back from cottage country. My wife had the lasagna and I had the sausage pizzaiola and they were excellent. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend this establishment.

Took my girlfriend for valentines dinner our waiter was rude and arrogant looked like he didn’t want to be there no matter how nice we were to him, the food was just ok not authentic Italian for sure don’t recommend at this time.

We celebrated my parents 65th wedding anniversary last night and I would rate this restaurant 100% successful in accomplishing a fabulous party, food, wine and ambiance were outstanding, Richard, is the absolute best accompanied by his wonderful chef and fabulous staff, 10 stars, can hardly wait to go back❤️

Lunch here today. Solo. Top quality Italian . Starter fresh breads with tapanade and spicy pepper, great bean and potato (fiogele?) soup and arrabiatta with spicy sausage. Professional experienced wait staff excelled even though restaurant was jammed. Nice cloth napkins high quality food served hot. Nice tiramisu for dessert (definitely small and overpriced dessert). Tasty and light. Still highly recommend.

All aspects of this establishment are top notch. Food, service, wine selection exceeded my expectations. Waitstaff extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Extensive menu and very reasonably priced. Will return.

Upon our late arrival at the hotel, we were hungry. Since the hotel is in a commercial district near the airport, we were less confident. Our mistake: the place is wonderful!! The service was attentive; prices very reasonable; food EXCELLENT!
We will return on our next trip to Toronto.

Four of us celebrated at La Luce yesterday. Two of us are Italian and very particular about the food. All our dishes were wonderful: one veal parmesan, one veal marsala, one mushroom risotto and my eggplant parmesan; as well as a wonderful mixed salad. Food was excellent. Service was friendly, and attentive. The gentleman at the piano played beautifully, softly and we loved it. Prices very reasonable. A great evening. Going back soon. What a find.

I have been to this restaurant many times, days, evenings and weekends. I have also had a couple of private functions. Very friendly staff and great food. It is one of my top three restaurants. You will enjoy.

I've been quite a few times for company functions and just to meet friends for lunch. They can definitely accommodate a larger crowd and the service was great.
