Our team Christmas event was spent at Richmond Station and we were so incredibly impressed with the quality of food, service and how affordable everything was. We also very much appreciated how open the restaurant was to being flexible with us when we hit a few snags with our booking on the way. I would so highly recommend the place and I will definitely be returning! Thanks for making our evening a magical experience <3

We truely enjoyed our evening at Richmond station. Food was great, from the starters to the desert. The salmon starter stood out for me - but we all thought we got the best. Service very attentive but not in the pressing way. When they learned it was our first trip to Toronto all our dessert plates had “Welcome” handwritten on them as well as a little candle. Very nice little gesture. Strongly recommend

We were there last night for our dinner, the first time. Both of us had the tasting menu with 7 courses. We have skipped the wine pairing so that we can focused on tasting the food. Service was not great but good. We constantly have people adding water, taking away finished plates, and asking for our likes and dislikes on each dish. The first 3 appetizers were refreshing and good. The pouched fish was nice may be better with some vegetables. I find the duck breast was a bit tough ( not medium rare) and related to the attendant. Later on, the supervisor came over and suggested to add an extra dish since we found the main dish was not perfect. Fifteen minutes later, a juicy hamburger arrived and to our surprise it was great! All and all, the food was good but not perfect but the most impressive of all was the customer service they provide - they knew they were trying their best and if customers are not satisfied they keep elevating their game to please them. That is hard to come by. Well done!

Heard a lot of great things about this place - particularly as they offer a lot of gluten free choices but unfortunately, it did NOT live up to expectations. First, the ambience is non-existent. The place has all white walls with drab art and pictures - nothing interesting to look at. Second, the noise level was deafening. One can forgive or ignore the first two if the food is outstanding - no such luck. The salmon appetizers were very good but for the main course I ordered the pork loin duo at $45 and my wife ordered the chicken at $42. For those prices - you want to taste main dishes that are hard to replicate in your own kitchen. Both dishes - I could make taste way better and at a fraction of the cost. The pork loin was tough and flavourless and the pork sausage tasted like anything I could buy from a grocery store and get it to taste better with seasonings or spices in my oven or on the bar-b-q. The potato squares were great but the beets were nothing special. My wife’s chicken dish which I tasted was OK but flavourless. The one good thing was that the service was outstanding -attentive and prompt. When you go to a highly rated restaurant, you want to taste/experience desserts that you normally wouldn’t or couldn't make at home. When it came to desserts, they had 5 options. Two have been around for way over 40 years: Carrot cake and Tiramisu. Really, it is 2025 and they are still offering desserts that my parents ordered in the last century. The other options 3 looked interesting but at $20 a pop - they needed to be something extraordinary. Overall, very disappointed!

This place was a real surprise for a couple of Australians visiting Toronto . Engaged attentive staff , menu focussed on thought through carefully planned dishes of good taste and local good quality wines by the glass. Jet lagged people, in particular will appreciate that focussed menu . Will eat there again during our stay

This restaurant is beautiful, the decor is modern but cozy with a gorgeous wall of wine that is kept impeccably clean, they are meticulous at cleaning or have very high turnover in their bottles! The service was great, staff are very professional, helpful and attentive. The food however was a bit of a let down - we had the beef tartare, the haddock, the lamb, fries, salad, and chocolate/caramel dish for dessert. The beef tartare was excellent, but everything else was nothing special. The portions are not generous (especially the $20 chocolate dessert, which we finished in four bites) and overall we were underwhelmed. Glad we tried it, but won’t be going back.

We ordered five appetisers, five mains and two desserts so I guess we are well-positioned to comment on the food quality of this restaurant. The portion of the appetisers are quite small but each of them is well designed with positive surprise. Duck liver pate is my favourite and is very smooth. Among the mains, I like farm organic chicken the best as the chicken is very soft and tender. For dessert, I like the earl grey one (i forget the name).

Had dinner at Richmond Station last week... For reference we ordered: scallop sashimi, a burger, the special which was pasta with duck, agnolotti, and the cauliflower steak. The good: service is impeccable, restaurant is clean and welcoming, location is great. Most of the food was good. The not-so-great: food was a bit underwhelming, especially considering the prices. I mean if I'm paying $36 for cauliflower it should definitely bowl me over in terms of taste, and at least be more than 5 bites. Overall, I left a bit hungry and disappointed but I'll still give the experience 4/5 because I think it's my fault that my palate isn't elevated enough for this restaurant!

What a great find. Exceptional food - do try the confit canard served by very friendly helpful staff. Great choice of wines and I managed to meet one of the owners whilst waiting for an Uber and partake in a quick wine tasting. But th great thing is ———— and I hope others will follow , is there is no tip or service charge! Prices may be slightly higher ( they seemed reasonable to me ) but you don’t a have to go through the embarrassment of knowing how much to tip. Just a shame I was only in Toronto for three days as i would have returned . Highly recommended ! BTW I heard the owner I met was a Canada Chef of Year winner.

5 course tasting menu at the chef's table with wine pairings was outstanding. From the 4 canapes start to the final surprise pavlova's and jellies every dish was a tasting experience, the depth of flavors mind boggling. The service was outstanding, a hostess that kept constant watch on our progress and ensured that we were enjoying each dish, a sommelier who really knew his stuff and was not stingy in his pours of each wine perfectly matched to each dish. The individual servers went out of their way to explain the nuances of each individual dish that was served. The tasting menu changes every two weeks. If we lived in Toronto we'd be tempted to eat here every couple of weeks. We really enjoyed our meal here and the topping surprise was that no tip was expected or even accepted, it's included in the price. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The menu didnt have much variety. If you dont eat seafood or duck there werent many options. Nothing sounded that appetizing. We tried the duck to be adventurous but it was overcooked and too spicy. The menu never said it was spicy either.

The whole experience and food were generally excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the place was buzzy and our table looked directly into the kitchen which was great. The food was delicious especially the spicy lettuce wrap and the chickpea panisse. Minor let downs were around the communication, they checked I was gluten free at the desk but did not tell the waiter (or they didn’t take any notice) and the fries with my burger were way over salted. Well worth booking, a memorable experience.

Absolutely amazing! Food is great, staff is great, don’t miss it if you’re in Toronto. We hadn’t booked a table, but were lucky enough to get the last teo seats available at the ”chef’s table”, looking in ok the kitchen. The fact that it’s fully packed with guests so early in the evening felt like a good sign. We got the menues and were informed on the ”tip included” pricing. We both chose the Stn Burger which is probably the best burger I’ve ever had (and without a doubt in the top three). Staff checked on us regularly to see that everything was ok, it felt like a really friendly environment. We were looking forward to trying some desserts, but actually couldn’t eat anything more after the burger. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to come back again before returning home…

My friend and I loved this place. The atmosphere and staff were lovely. We had an early dinner before the theatre and even at that early the place was full. We ordered off the menu but you can do a seven course chef experience if you are inclined. We had the Brie appetizer, apple soup, asparagus and cured egg salad and the burger. The beet relish on the burger was just the right touch. They gave us a piece of pastry chef prepared fudge as a small sweet after dinner. Tip included in dinner price. Would definitely recommend!

I love coming back here as even after all these years since it’s opening in 2012, it’s still a standout establishment! It’s an incredibly charming farm to table venue with exceptional food, cocktails and above all else, attentive and amazing customer service! They are attentive to food allergies and dietary restrictions which is appreciated! If you yourself are affected, please make them aware. They do have gluten-free options but for those with celiac disease please advise them in advance. Over the years they’ve kept their favs on the menu, such as their signature Station burger, not pictured here, but one of the best in the city! Some highlights included the smoked beet salad with whipped ricotta, which was so beautifully presented. The charcoal grilled arctic char has a unique interplay of cuisines with a dashi beurre blanc, and koshihikari rice emulating a risotto. They also make a MEAN cocktail and pictured here is one of my favs, an oldfashioned ! My dessert, not pictured here, but the ‘barre orange’ a shortbread base with orange curd and chocolate cremeux was the perfect end to my meal! Thank you so much for this incredible meal and I wish you many more years of success!
