This was our first visit to this restaurant and we enjoyed how it was attached to the Delta Hotel. Service was top notch and our server was a pleasure to interact with. The prices on the menu were a bit high, and I was disappointed to find that their only sushi roll combo was for takeout only. Our meal tasted fresh and was very good. Overall a great find in the delta hotel.

I must confess I am not a Japanese food expert but was with a self professed one. He ordered. It was okay. Service was good, selection varied, but California rolls ordinary, tempura a little soggy, and seafood a little dry. It was fine but for that price I want great!

I took my daughter to Ginko for dinner while we were staying at the Delta hotel. My daughter is a fan of Japanese culture, and Ginko didn’t disappoint. From the hostesses and their kimonos to the sushi, table top BBQ and authentic Ramune drink, she was in heaven. The food was really good, and service attentive. It was a great night out!

A must restaurant to visit. We tried their chefs specials. we were there for sone light meal only. This place is a gem. We will definitely go back if we will have a long lay over again at Toronto airport. We tried their Japanese vegan curry, too. Ordered with it chicken katsu. We live everything that they served us. Please make sure to check them out when you're near Toronto Airport. Restaurant is are located inside Delta property. If you're driving, mention it to the server for parking validation before you leave.

I ordered a bento box for takeout and it was delicious. I was not expecting the wonderful assortment of different foods. Everything was tasty and I look forward to eating here again.

Ginko really surpassed my expectation, given that I am staying at a Toronto (well it is a very diverse city but still...) airport hotel. Authentic might be too strong of a word but Ginko is a decent Japanese restaurant, which doesn't compromise too much for the local crowd. I came across the restaurant as I was googling for a Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. It has a detail website and the description pretty much matched my expectation. I ordered a Spinach with sesame sauce starter, and for main course, I order the Daimyo Gozen, which comes with your choice of sushi or sashimi, which I chose (two pieces of tuna sashimi and two pieces of salmon sushi), shrimp and vegetable tempura (only okay as the batter was too thick, not flaky and light enough), breaded pork skewer (delicious), grilled black cod (lovely), choice of miso soup or salad, and a bowl of rice (I paid $3 extra for premium grain rice), and the only thing missing are pickles. Erin, the manager/server, was friendly and the service was impeccable. If I have to be staying at the neighborhood, I won't hesitate to dine here again.

If you are staying at the Delta Hotel near the airport, you cant do better than Ginko which is located conveniently for you in your hotel. If you are in another airport hotel you will have to drive over. This is high quality, good service top notch sushi. Its expensive, but Id say you get what you pay for, and if you are eating raw fish, maybe its wise to spend a bit more for quality. While the food was good, the staff also made my son and I feel welcome and even gave him a balloon, which he appreciated. Also for those with sushi loving kids, there is a small koi pond, which served as a wonderful pre meal distraction,

Best Japanese food I have had since living in Kyoto ten years ago. Super traditional ingredients and flavors. You can really get a taste of Japan. Delicious. Perfect. Even the staff know some Japanese words and mannerisms. Great dessert menu. I had the tanoshimi menu for 22$. Amazing value. It was more food and more filling than I expected! 5star quality. My friend had super sushi and said it was the best of his life!!!

Visited Ginko at Delta Hotel at YYZ in September 2019 for lunch. Opted for Roll Lover’s lunch. Miso soup and small salad came with a few rolls. Plenty of food and very tasty. Service was quick and attentive. They validate parking. If you are in the airport area and want to try Japanese, Ginko is a great option.

Although several restaurants were in easy walking distance of our hotel, we chose to try Ginko's which is located in the hotel. Although somewhat limited, the menu offered a variety of Japanese dishes. The service was excellent, and the food when delivered was outstanding. Although the restaurant was quite busy, the atmosphere was quite quiet and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We were so pleased that we chose to patronize Ginko's two more times while in the area.

1 word, authentic cuisine, yet affordable. Had a party for my daughter and her friends for her birthday and they were treated with pampered precision. Excellent hosting and tremendous food, they even gave her the private tatami room on my request when we arrived. Food is always fresh and tasty.

Inside the Toronto airport Delta Hotel is a hidden gem of a restaurant! If you're looking for terrific Japanese cuisine, Ginko is probably the pick of the bunch on Dixon Road. Tranquil, understated decor and excellent personable and attentive service. An odd quirk of the restaurant is that the dinner menu only highlighted sushi and bento offerings. All other dishes - tempura, appetizers, donburi, udon, soba, etc. - are on a so-called "secret menu" (despite the fact that their website menu shows all these dishes). However, all are available upon request = but obviously you have to know your JP dishes to know what to ask. I implore Ginko to list their full menu as their preparation of them is top-notch imo! We shared some appetizers of: agedashi tofu, gyoza, and a tempura soft-shell crab roll. All were excellent - especially the soft-shell crab roll (delicately light and friable batter, nice warmth contrasting with the cool rice) and the gyoza (thankfully pan-fried for that crisp/tender texture and not deep-fried, a regrettable short cut I see happening more and more often). As it was a chilly brisk night, I followed with their udon noodle soup accompanied by a brace of tempura ebi - but as I was particularly hungry having skipped lunch flying in, I also ordered their tempura appetizer as an addition to the udon. The latter comprised of two more ebi and a nice assortment of vegetables (onion, zucchini, eggplant, kabocha squash), all crispy, hot, and light. The udon was excellent - perfect chewy slippery noodles and the best broth I've ever had for udon; uncharacteristically, I drained the bowl. My colleague's sushi and sashimi combo was also very good (this evening the sushi chef was female - rare to see, but regardless of gender, she was outstanding), comprising of very fresh seafood. l sampled some of it and swooned over the terrific scallop sashimi. Ginko has definitely become my go-to default for YYZ dining!

Three of us stopped in at Ginko for a business dinner on a weekday evening. We really enjoyed the meal for several reasons:1. fast service 2. a menu that enabled us to mix/match what we wanted so everyone was happy and 3. excellent food. This is the second or third time I have visited and the quality is consistent.

I visited Ginko at Delta Hotel near YYZ airport. It seemed the restaurant went through some renovation. It looked different, but not sure if it's any better than before. Food was authentic and good as always. Chef came out and thanked dinners - which was a nice touch. Overall good food, good service, and reasonable price -- a good experience.
