An inviting open gas log fireplace greets patrons at entrance & another flanks Dining room at end of bar. Waitstaff very attentive, abundant & are very helpful explaining menu options. The Caesar salad was delicious. Our prime rib was cooked perfectly to our specifications. Garlic...mashed potatoes complimented prime rib very well. Would highly recommend.More

On a recent short trip to Toronto we wanted to have a steak, with Keg coming out on top for reviews, we went to try it. Everything was lovely, the food & the restaurant itself, although with a couple of small errors in what was...ordered but nothing that we would make a fuss over & indeed did not mention. I would be happy to recommend the restaurant for a good steak, that is reasonably priced for those use to UK/US prices, we'd rate the food 4/5. The main disappointment was with our waitress, who until this point had been lovely & attentive. We paid the bill with Card, as we did not have enough cash to pay the bill but it was our intention to leave a cash tip (which we did). However, upon selecting no tip on the card machine, the waitress threw the receipt onto the table & marched off. A little rude if you ask me & demonstrated that the good service & friendly approach to this point was more of a facade to get a tip. We did still leave the tip we were always going to of ~20% but this did unnecessarily sour our experience & was pretty unprofessional from the individual. I wonder what the response was upon returning to the table & seeing that her huff had been premature...More

Absolutely loved our dinner and service. The prime rib was extremely tender. It comes with French fries and onion straws. My wife had the teriyaki sirloin that was so flavorful and tender. A place not to be missed!!

This is a good place for decent dinner. Prime rib is excellent. Service is thoughtful and very accommodating of food sensitivities. My server, Susanna was very professional and excellent. The venue is good at accommodating solo dinners.

Had the opportunity to visit this Keg location on two different nights. The first night our server was Matt, whose attention to our needs was terrific. For this reason we came back a second nigh where our server was Deanna. Unfortunately for Deanna (who advised...that one of the cooks had booked off due to illness) service was real slow. To compensate the manager (Michelle?) apologized for the delay and offered a free beverage to kill some time. Very much appreciated. It's actions like this that are displayed by restaurant staff that will keep me coming back to this restaurant when visiting downtown Toronto.More

The keg is a cool looking place and was really busy, but it still had a relaxing atmosphere. We got there early and had a few drinks which were quick to arrive and they had a decent selection of beers. We sat in a booth...as there was 4 of us , we ordered starters and mains and there was a bit of a wait but not too long especially as they were really busy. The food was amazing and we all enjoyed it the portions are big so we got a to go box for a few things, my Mac and cheese was the only dish I was not fully happy with it was ok just not as good as others I’ve had. The service was quick and friendly and they were very attentive, the cost was reasonable for a meal for 4 , I would recommend this place even just for drinks.More

Celebrated our 15 anniversary here for dinner! The meal was amazing food was spot on -taste portion -variety. We traveled from NY and certainly wish you had a location near us! Easily would be our new favorite restaurant. Not only was the food soooo good..., the staff was friendly, accommodating, and informative. 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area!More

In town for business and excited to try Keg based on a local co-workers’ recommendation and focused on my need to find a keto / carnivore friendly restaurant. Got the Keg Classic with a Caesar Salad, Prime Rib, Cauliflower Mash. Caesar was bland with watery...dressing. Cauliflower Mash was ice cold. I swear they scooped it straight from the refrigerator and no one heated it. Quality of Prime Rib itself was good but it was flavorless, no crust, and just uninspired. I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly enough, but not helpful and lackluster when asked for a basic wine recommendation. Big Big shout out to the bar back / bus boy who was the most attentive of the crew.More

Nice ambient steakhouse, table are not cramped together, even though very big dining area, and fully packed, noise level was low enough that we could all hear each other without difficulty. Steaks were great, perfectly cooked to order, and soooo tasty. Started with a french...onion soup, which was ok, but the star of the night was the fillet mignon. Pefect.More

My husband and I loved this place. We chose it purely on the recommendation of some of the tour party we were with and because we knew we would get steak! Perfect place to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. We were walk-ins and had about...a 5 minute wait for a table. Our waitress was amazing, only I cannot remember her name. The food was brilliant, both steaks cooked perfectly and I had a blue cheese in breadcrumb on top and that was divine! Drinks were great and I love the little carafe that my cola came in to put into my spirit. Fantastic place and would definately eat there, or any other Keg restaurant again.More

We came across the US border to Niagra falls and stopped at the Keg. We paid for the self park at the Embassy suites for $20 CAN for parking. We ended up getting a bear window view overlooking Niagara Falls which was nice. It took...a while for us to get service for our drink order and seemed to have several others waiting. Food came relatively quickly though. We ordered the baked Brie which was excellent. The basil sauce and jelly was a great combination with the tostini bread. For mains we had the peppercorn New York with grilled shrimp added on and Steak & Shrimp. Also kids steak and chicken strips. The New York was covered in whole peppercorns. It’s not bad, but not what I was expecting either. It was a little strong for my taste. The whiskey sauce pairing is not at all what I expected. If you’re American I would liken it to brown gravy you find on a pot roast - not au jus though. I couldn’t discern the whiskey flavor either. The honey sauce that came with the kids strips was what I ended up using to dip my steak In. It was cooked to the perfect temp and presented nicely. The grilled shrimp were excellent though. Keg fries as well. It was pricey, about $240 CAN and would be comparable in pricing to a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in the States or another upscale steakhouse.More
