With a beautiful table-side view of Lake Ontario, surrounded by exquisite trappings, is the most delicious breakfast a person could ever desire. Treated to the wonderful toasted bagel with an enormous serving of smoked salmon and creme fraiche, this was a breakfast worth writing about! We stayed at the Prince of Wales, but the breakfast special, available to any of the Vintage patrons, made this probably one fo the best bargains in the city! DO NOT stay in the hotel and not get the breakfast package. It's all inclusive - beverages, and anything from the menu for a VERY reasonable price. EXTRAordinary value!

Have been to the Tiara in Queens Landing many times for Sunday Brunch as just love it.
The waiters (Gerry and Arther) always make us feel like family even though we only go a few times a year.
The food is absolutely delicious, so much variety, healthy and not so healthy depending on your taste. My son eats a mountain of smoked salmon every time we go. The apple juice in unfiltered and very yummy.
Unique salads, roast beef and an omelet station and great hot plate selection but I still always end up with eggs Benedict as it is a favourite.
Dessert station always has many and new selections.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary so we wanted to go somewhere special. After researching 10 most romantic Niagara restaurants, and then reviewing the menus, we chose Tiara because of the menu and reasonable prices. When we arrived they seated us at a lovely table overlooking the marina and the bay. The food was certainly good, the candied pear and beet salad was incredible, but the service was incredible. First of all our server Rose was there to make sure everything was perfect and in the end she brought us a desert decorated with Happy Anniversary & Complementary bubbly. Very nice! And then there was a sommelier, Shelly. We’ve recently moved here from living in California and asked for her help because we knew nothing about Canadian wines. We were so impressed. We have never come across a sommelier that was not only Knowledgable but also brilliant at asking us the appropriate questions to be able to zero in on our taste. After recommending the outstanding wine she later spent time with us educating us on the Ontario wine industry and giving us a list of the wineries we should visit.

My husband and I had dinner here on Saturday night while we were staying at Pillar and Post for our honeymoon weekend.
We had high expectations based on other reviews but we were disappointed that the food really wasn't all that good. Everything was a bit bland and lacking any flavour. I had the NY strip steak and my husband a chicken dish, neither of which we would want to order again.
The ambiance of the restaurant and hotel was really nice, but the food, although it looked pretty on the plate, wasn't very tasty.
Our waiter didn't bother to ask us if we were celebrating anything, even though we heard him ask other tables around us. We were clearly dressed up and ordered champagne so it wouldn't have been hard to figure it was a special occasion for us. That was disappointing,
We booked the "culinary" package as part of our room rate with Pillar and Post/Vintage Hotels so we did not pay anything additional dinner (we paid for the dinner when booking our room) but regardless we were disappointed.

Thought we would indulge in a nice meal for Mother's Day. Brought the food home to discover that it was refrigerated cold and needed heating. I was told on the phone that the meal would consist of crispy chicken and smoked short rib, with cheesecake. The chicken was skinless and tasteless. The beef was covered in fat and served with scoops of mashed potato and rock-hard, inedible carrots. The dessert turned out to be chocolate mousse. Quite frankly, the savoury food was akin to hospital food: bland, tasteless, and boring. For $30.00 a plate, this was a pretty dismal meal. As locals, we will not be returning in the future.

The most beautiful outdoor patio with flowers and a fountain in Niagara on the Lake.
We had the most wonderful food, service and overall Experience in this restaurant. The portions are massive so I suggest you share an entree or be prepared to have a doggy bag. The cheese and meat platters are delicious with great preserves. My entree was smoked brisket with good sides and my daughter had the seafood pasta which together was enough food for 4 people. Perfectly cooked and loads of flavour. This restaurant is only currently open Fri, Sat and Sun nights so plan according. Well worth a visit.

The restaurant is beautiful, with a lovely view looking down to the mouth of the Niagara River. Food is meticulously and creatively prepared, and service is impeccable.
It's particularly appreciated to have dined there solo and not be made to feel like a misfit.
Prices were not unreasonable, especially given the quality and attention to detail.
Thank you for a most pleasant dining experience.

We only had breakfast as it was part of our room pkg. Buffet was very basic and boring, there is an omelette table but be advised that it’s only Sat & Sun. Not impressed at all.
For what they charge versus what you get you would be much better walking five mins into town and having breakfast at one of the many restaurants there.

We have been freequent guests at Tiara and always loved the restaurant, but something changed this year… service was great as always, but food was mediocre and really overpriced for it’s quality … we always recomended this restaurant and had all important celebrations there, but after this last visit, I would not recommend it to my friends and will have next family celebration somewhere else. Too bad as we really enjoyed going there for the past 7-8 years. Bland and overpriced…

One of the mental notes I made was to mention the excellent service that Rose provided. Looking at the other reviews I'm certainly not alone. Of the 35+ years I've been fine dining around the world, Rose is in the Top 5 service wise. Now on to the rest. Entering Tiara we were the only ones in the bar area but the service was below par and lacking attentivenness. We even considered leaving at one point having waited 10 minutes to order a drink. Once seated we began to enjoy the atmosphere. The menu selection was nice but at some point, Foie Gras has to stop being a featured appetizer. To that end the scallops my companion had were on the chewy side and overcooked. In true Canadian tradition they offer an upgrade from Striploin to Filet. I never understood why not just have two menu items.......Strip and Filet. The Filet was good but not outstanding. All in all the atmosphere at Tiara makes up for what is lacking in the food. What's lacking in the food is made up for by Rose and her service. I hope management is preparing for the inevitable when Rose decides to toss her order book in the lake and enjoys a well deserved walk into the sunset.

This is NOT a fine dining restaurant even though it charges deluxe prices. There are better in the town. We arrived & chose to have a cocktail at the adjacent bar. The decor was very worn. We sat at the bar & were ignored by the server in favour of a large party that arrived after us. We ended up moving into the restaurant after 15 minutes during which the server never came near us, despite our best efforts. The restaurant is part of a hotel which seems to focus on big conference or touring groups. The atmosphere in the restaurant is like a school dining hall with used dishes and glasses piled up on serving stations. The food itself is very good. Service average - we asked to speak with someone about their wine list (extensive and impressive). We were told someone would be over but they never appeared. Some of the chairs weee torn and cutlery was worn/basic. AVOID

Amazing experience. Wonderful setting overlooking the river and marina. Not too busy. Upscale but not stuffy. Beautiful ambience and setting, everything high quality.
Rose was professional, knowledgeable and very thoughtful. She recommended the fixed price option that wasn’t advertised and saved us quite a bit on our meal. She surprised us with some extras for our anniversary. She also took some really nice pics of us at dinner, which worked out so much better than our selfies.
The food was outstanding. Delicious, well prepared and presented, and generous portions for fine dining. Wines featured Niagara wines, of course. It was a great way to incorporate some of the wine we discovered on our wine tours.
Would highly recommend if you’re going to wine country.

The service was not equal to the upscale atmosphere of the restaurant. Our waitress was Rose. Rose could not explain or describe alternative side options. I repeated my question three times and also asked if there were mashed potatoes as a substitute. After she stared blankly at me with no answer, I said never mind, at which point she made me feel uncomfortable in front of the whole table by being pushy about the subject. She also hovered hard while trying to pay.
A drink was so late they didn’t even want it and our food order was put in late. It was tiring to have to keep complaining about things being wrong so we just put up with it after a while. The hen I ordered was so salty I felt nauseous and it made me sick on the way home. The soup I started with, was scolding hot. The Stella 🍺 was flat and the margarita was very strong. I’m hoping this was a one-off type of evening for this kind of restaurant.
The lamb, Queens martini, strawberry lemonade, and cappuccino were good.

We visited now that there are fewer COVID restrictions AND the restaurant still requires proof of vaccination. Our server Matt was helpful, accommodating and attentive. In March the restaurant was offering their Tiara-Licious Menu, a 3 course prix-fix Monday to Thursday evenings. All our courses were perfectly prepared and adjusted to our tastes. We will be back!!!

This was our first time having breakfast at Tiara. I’ll start with the excellent service. Gerry was #1. He made great recommendations and made us feel very comfortable making our experience fantastic. We all chose the buffet, the food was delicious and fresh. Gerry suggested we might like the Sunday brunch the next morning. He was spot on and we love it. The Tiara Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal anytime of the day. Even if you aren’t staying at the Queens Landing drop in and enjoy a great meal.
