Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely fantastic dinner and great service. Beautifull surroundings. It's a bit of a hidden pearl.
No need to go to Montforte d'Alba.

By far the nicest food we had in Piemonte, very traditional, yet, contemporary environment and super friendly hosts. We stayed at the same place and eating there was a real joy. A must if youre in the region. Salute!

The place is nice. The food is good but the prices are really excessive!
Starters at no less than €18 and first and second courses rising.
€4 per cover and €10 for a panna cotta.
We will definitely not be returning.

Buongiorno,

The place is very classy... in the summer the dinner is served inside a beautiful courtyard!
Impressive selection of Piedmont wines, definitely not pricey, and right quantity of first and second dishes (I strongly believe that any restaurant should focus to make few dishes with great care and passion!). A nice discover!

My family and I recently visited this lovely place during our visit to Piemonte.
From the moment we came we were given warm hospitality. We had planned a wine tasting the day we arrived, however a local food and wine festival made it impossible to get a taxi, and so the owner of the hotel offered to drive us.
After our tasting we got a little snack and wine from the restaurant, simple and tasty local food. A quick shower later, we went down for dinner. Here we got a variety of home made pasta, perfectly cooked veal and even a nice rabbit kebab..!
The desert consisted of three different types of panna cotta and three kinds of topping. Well made with a lot of vanilla.
A perfect example of Italian cuisine and hospitality.

A Mira d’Novel is still moving its first steps, its owners are enthusiastic and energetic and – most of all – they seem to be having a good time taking care of their guests. Despite the fact that the place opened only a few months ago, a lot of attention has been paid to the restaurant’s little details, from the canvas bags recycled as doormats to the handwritten menus on primary-school notebooks.
For lack of a better definition, the food is hearty and simple (not to mention really rather cheap). The dishes all belong to local tradition and are neatly – and rustically – presented. In my opinion, the anchovies in green and red sauce, the Piedmontese tagliatelle (tajarin), and the ravioli steal the show.
Despite being on a fairly trafficked road, the inside of A Mira d’Novel is homey and welcoming. I asked to see some of the rooms of their adjoining b&b, and they looked stunning: the wall of the first room I was shown was actually a blackboard (and I was rather tempted to pick up one of the pieces of chalk I saw on the bedside table and unleash the 8-year old in me), and the windows in the flats are so incredibly large that they made me yearn for a sunny and summery breakfast in bed.

Defining it as a tavern is truly an understatement.
We had dinner several evenings and had the opportunity to appreciate different courses on the menu.
High quality dishes at prices appropriate to the quality.
The wine list matches the menus and the service is precise and never intrusive.
Super recommended.
Cristian and Cinzia.
