We had a great lunch here at a reasonable price (expensive for Portugal). The dishes (One meat one vegetarian) were tasty and the service was good, although no English speakers on the staff. One comment for improvement: There was a note on the door that they don't accept credit cards. This is not acceptable.

After walking 10km through the Gerês mountains, we went for lunch/snacks. We ordered a charcuterie board which was disappointing, 3 types of cheese and 4 slices of sausage, 4 slices of chorizo and 4 slices of bacon. We thought that being stuffed was another type. However, the clams and the picasinho were finger-licking wonderful. The sangria was also good. The next day at dinner we wanted to repeat the clams because they were so good and there weren't any. We ordered gizzards, nothing special and the mushrooms in our opinion were also nothing special. We will return to taste more and repeat the clams, some of the best we ate.

We chose this restaurant because it had a terrace, as our dog was with us. The chairs were wet, so I asked inside the restaurant if they were doing work outside. They promptly told us that we could stay inside, even though we had the big dog, who was treated extremely well. The service and food were also surprising. The soup was delicious, the padron peppers were incredible, as well as the cod pataniscas and the prego on bread. There aren't many places that show the empathy that this restaurant showed! 5 stars

Restaurant well located, good looking and comfortable. Pleasant ambient music and peaceful space.
Very friendly staff.
Super tasty clams, I recommend them.
We chose to eat meat since the only fish dish is a cod dish.
The meat is very tough and has a lot of nerves. Heated or warmed rice. We were unable to eat the meat although the flavor was good, but the quality was very poor.

After a visit 6 months ago where everything went well, we returned to this establishment, hoping to find the same service and quality. But that's not what happened. The grilled veal steak was served cold, overcooked when medium was requested, too salty and with too many herbs. The accompanying rice was clearly reheated from lunch, without any quality. The bread was completely dry. A real disappointment!

To begin with, I think you could captivate a little bit more in customer service. The entries were basic, came a couvert with bread and olives. The vegetable cream was half cold. As the main dish we ordered Posta à Bo Gusta, in which the meat looked rubber and came cold, just like the potato to murro and the rice had just been heated in the microwave. Very poor attention: desk maid constantly distracted by the phone. After being asked for fine salt in a house with only two dining tables, he couldn’t remember the request and didn’t even regret what happened. No skills to communicate. On August 22, 2023, we went to the Petiscos da Bó Gusta establishment where we booked a table for two adults (Baby Country) and a 4-month-old baby, we indicated the right to priority service to the employee and then it was -told us that we had to wait our turn in order of arrival! Having said that, I told the employee that I would wait, but when it was my turn I would explain the situation to the manager. We traveled a long way to find this restaurant which seemed good to us due to its location and decor. The staff were efficient and welcoming, however the food did not live up to our expectations: the mixed grill lacked generosity and the chicken consisted of two small pieces, one of which was not cooked. Served with rice, fries and a tiny salad, this is not for big eaters. Damage.

Ordered some nice looking sausage (see their signature picture) and received instead some horrible (and bad tasting) black pudding. The management couldn’t even be bothered to offer some excuse. Terrible customer service. My wife had a steak that was full of sinews and tough. Very disappointing.

Impeccable experience 🙏
It was the first restaurant we visited and the one chosen for our farewell. Quick service, the space is beautiful and welcoming (it feels like we're in a grandmother's house). Exceptional service. Regarding the food, everything was impeccable.. the stuffed bread is a must to order, the gizzards and the alheira 🥹. This last time I also ordered some sautéed mushrooms that just had a little extra salt. It is recommended that you be there a little early so that you can eat early and not wait too long. My boyfriend loved the fritters. Comes with plenty of cod. I just wish they were thinner..☺️ desserts (passion fruit cheesecake, Kinder Bueno and the wonderful chocolate cake with ice cream). The day was excellent and the terrace was spectacular. The service was efficient considering that the restaurant was full and the service was very friendly. It is clear that there is quality without being dazzling. The bitoque on the bread was good but the meat could have been a little better, less tough. The alheira was on point. For dessert, a cheese from Gerês, very good, with great honey, but the dried fruits lacked more richness, making it more like muesli.

The food is quite tasty.
The stuffed bread is incredible.
The meat was very good.
For dessert we ordered homemade chocolate mousse, but we were not told that there was liqueur at the bottom of the glass. I found it inconvenient not to be informed because I don't like it and more than half was left uneaten.

We were received with great kindness and presented with a meal of very good taste and made with love. Divinely filled bread, followed by a post to Bó Gusta at the point. We finished in beauty with a cheesecake of red fruits and brigadeiro cake with salty caramel that remained in memory. It's right to number one.

Incredible, food made with soul and passion. We ordered pork ribs, which came off the bone without any effort. The homemade chocolate mousse was one of the best I've ever had. It makes you want to go back to Gerês to eat here again.
