I don’t normally write reviews, but this was by far the worst food I’ve ever had in a restaurant, and it was not cheap. Ordered the grilled chicken, received the strangest cut of thin and gamey meat with no seasoning or marinade and a side...of fries. Disgusting enough that I was not able to eat it. And it was like $160 pesos! Had a cocktail as well that was much below average. Nice staff and comfortable seating, I recommend just going for dessert or coffee.More

Hopeless sevice and the waitress kept getting our order wrong. At least they had the decency to give us a discount.

This place is a gem! Food and drinks are always excellent for a great price. Wonderful customer service. Best kids area in San Cristobal (free, clean, tons of activities and great staff). Local arts and events. Definitely 5 stars in all ways!!!

This place is average in most aspects, like food or services. However one of the reasons we keep going is the kids area they have, with a person dedicated to taking care of them and organizing activities. The girl that usually takes care of our...son has the patience of a saint, even with hyperactive children. If you have children of up to 6, maybe 7 years old and want to have a peaceful lunch time, this is a very good option.More

If you want to be disappointed this is the restaurant to go to. We waited an unreasonably amount of time before we got our food and our food was not as described on the menu. they were also very intolerant of children. They think they’re...high-end restaurant but they have to be one of the worst. This restaurant is truly a joke.More

I wanted to find a place in town where I could work on my laptop and have good coffee or a glass of wine. This place immediately made me comfortable. There are reading lights, good Wifi signal and delicious drinks as well as yummy cakes...and an assortment of food. I love the painting on the walls, the whole feeling is wide open and European. The service was so friendly.More

The restaurant has just a great kids area made in Waldorf philosophy style. Dayana who works there is amazing, she knows tons of games and things to keep kids entertained. It’s our favorite to go with kids, they always bring different crafts from there. The...food in la Colmena is good, especially crepés with different fillings. Yummi!More

We had a fast, good value and tasty breakfast. Totally recommended for a traditional Mexican breakfast.

I went here for lunch and can say that in my experience this restaurant is very average. The service was very slow, wifi didn't work and the quinoa salad I ordered was extremely unsatisfying; very small, no imagination, very bland, literally just a small pile...of quinoa on a plate with some halved cherry tomatoes, tiny goats cheese balls and some raisins with an acceptable pesto on the side. Would not recommend. Much better food for the same price elsewhere.More

Food and service was oustanding. Brianda was very friendly. Place to have a traditional Mexican Breadfast.
