Enjoyed this more than El Cardenale if you’re picking between the two. Stained glass all over, mariachi band came in while we were eating, made for a really nice lunch. Pozole was good as was the guacamole.

Great service, hot plates and dishes that have been perfected after years in service. Cafe de Tacuba is a landmark in the Mexican food journey. Classic dishes are made to perfection in a formidable old-school ambiance.

While the tamales were huge and delicious, the main entrees left something to be desired. We had the catch of the day with mojo de ajo and it was flavorless and was accompanied with French fries. Being in a Mexican restaurant we would have preferred...More

I think they perform at night, the best thing to do is to call the restaurant and ask.

Either you'll have to be very very lucky to find a table by the windows, or you'll have to handsomely, and/or very discretely, "tip" the folks at the hosting station. Good luck!
