Good variety on the menu - indoor and patio dining

We ate here several times , once we had pizza cooked in a wood fired oven and it was quite good. Another time I had chicken cacciatore , which was excellent and my husband enjoyed shrimp fettuccine.The prices are reasonable.

A taste of Italy in Mazatlan

We were a large group of nearly 30 people and they accommodated us wonderfully. The staff worked tirelessly to get our meals out together and the food was excellent as was the price. I highly recommend a visit here. It is within walking distance of the Inn at Mazatlan where we stayed.

The BEST pizza in mazatlan and more

Not only is it the best pizza in Mazatlan . It is also one of the nicest . Great wait staff and eveything on the menu is great .Was told to try the Salmon Lasagna but was never bold enough ! I should have tried it years ago To die for Prepared in a white cheese sauce and a one of a kind creation .

Recently visited for dinner with family and friends (10 of us). We had a reserved table inside the restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. There is outdoor seating as well, but it’s right beside traffic. We ordered five pizzas and they all had flour dusted under the crust, which gave an unpleasant taste, plus the middle was a bit undercooked. You know something’s not right when five 19 year old boys only eat half of their pizzas. The fettuccine Alfredo, salad and salmon dishes were rated as pretty good, while both orders of the seafood fettuccine (including mine) were excellent. Service was good, but we had a problem with the bill with incorrect charges, which was corrected. Would definitely return for the seafood fettuccine.

Worst dining experience ever! Food was poor quality, badly cooked, but highly priced. The server took the inedible meat off the check, that’s why the one star. With do many places to dine definitely skip this one

Very nice restaurant

Went as a group of 7. We had a reservation. We were seated at a large round table which was awesome to be able to chat to everyone. Fresh bread provided to the table. You could butter it or use olive oil and balsamic provided to create a dip. Was yummy. Hubby and I had lasagna. Was very good and a large portion. Red and white wine options. As well as cervesa and mixed cocktails. Service was quick and accurate. Very clean. Would go back.

Upscale and excellent---at reasonable prices!

I noticed past reviews are very favourable but they also are dated from back in 2020. Diners can however be assured that Villa Italia still and again has tremendous food and excellent service....all at reasonable prices. The up-scale restaurant was pleasantly busy (always a good sign) on our Wednesday night visit. Our Italian meals, with starter salad, were terrific and those coming to tables around us looked great as well. Hats-off to our camerero/mesero Sr. Luis who was pleasant and attentive and who helped us make great choices.

Can’t wait to visit when it’s open!

Ooops!!! Suppose to b open everyday. But? I’ll give it a 5 star for now but Will go back when it’s open and update it. Went to Austin’s BBQ just around the corner. After we ate there we found out Austin’s has Smoked Prime Rib on Tuesday’!!! Next Tuesday will find out. 😜

Awesome Italian

Excellent food and service. We have been staying at an all inclusive resort and sadly the resort does not have good wine. The wine was delightful, food was amazing and service was top notch. Thank you for the recommendation from the El CID bell hops. When we come back to Mazatlan will absolutely return!

Magnificent

Great food, wines, breads, service. Don't sit outside, as the traffic and people watching is fun; but everything is slightly covered with pollution grime caused from all the cars. It's lovely inside and the service is impeccable.

service was good. Pizza was bad (too soggy, heavy toppings, canned mushrooms). Location is noise. Also it doesn’t make sense to serve bread before pizza either.

Excellent pizza and pasta. It was very busy the night we went for dinner and service was fast. Efficiently moved people in and out of the restaurant without making you feel rushed.

What a disappointment!

Sure have fallen since covid This was our favorite restaurant when in Mazatlan but no more Dinner use to come with bread and oils in the beginning but no longer We ordered 2 different dinners One lasagna, one fettuccine Alfredo Both set of noodles were way over cooked Lasagna had little or now cheese and very little sauce Fettuccine sauce was low in flavor and texture Won’t be going back

Right on the main drag. Smelled the pizza walking by. Ate inside rather than on the patio. Pizza was best pizza in Mazatlan!
