Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have never had a bad time here. One block from the machado it is nicely locate in centro. The food and service is great. Pablo and Monica have done a great job here and are the most caring owners I’ve ever met. My wife and I have our favorites but we’ve tried a lot on the menu. They have a nice outdoor eating area on a covered patio and you can get a nice breeze there or eat on the two lower levels in an air conditioned environment. We highly recommend eating here.

This is a coffee shop which sells meals. They have a very good tuna burger although it is served with a very small portion of fries. The tuna nor the potato portion is as large as the one served around the corner at El Cielo for the same price, however it is good.

This spot is perfect for breakfast or brunch. The food is flavourful and baking is delicious. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome each and every time. Pablo roasts his own coffee and his beautiful wife Monica bakes all the scones, cakes, muffins etc. their two daughters help run the restaurant and grandpa plays music for you. To say it is like going to your favorite relatives house for breakfast would be a great way of describing the vibe. If you go to the patio you get a little view of the neighborhood while surrounded by flowering plants. This is a daily must for us!!

Heritage building renovated into cozy 3 level family run restaurant. We stay on the ground floor due to physical limitations. We had the ribs as recommended by the server and the Red Snapper which I can never pass up. Both excellent. Followed by carrot cake and apple cheese pie ( just like my mother used to make) and coffee. The coffee very hot, fresh but I could have used a little more kick. I only took away one star because I felt uncomfortable with the staff sweeping and mopping the entire place while we were eating. Getting the place tidied up before the next shift came on duty.

This is our favourite place in Mazatlán. The coffee is perfect. We have not had everything on the menu but anything we have had was delicious. You can pass hours on the rooftop just enjoying the view and the sunshine. Aside from all of that, i can’t say enough about the staff and the owners. Special people that make the experience unforgettable.

I stumbled on this cafe by chance and I was really pleased to find several interesting vegetarian options, some of which are new to the menu. I ordered the portobello hamburger, which was cooked well and really delicious. Their rooftop area is pleasant and atmospheric, and staff were friendly and attentive. An enjoyable meal out.

It was very clean and the whole staff was welcoming & friendly..Usually I will drink coffee at every coffee shop, but this time I had green tea & a scone..I talked to the young waiters who gave me tips on how to get to tourist places around here..the menu also had lunch and dinner items...i was asked by one of the waitresses if I would be interested to see how the coffee was ground..I said..OF course!..She took me to the top..and I was given a brief informative description by a young man..I recommend this place to anyone visiting old Mazatlan

Run by a family that turned this 30-year abandon building into a super cute cafe near plaza machado! If you get to meet Pablo and Monica they will make you feel like family too. They have a great mix of both Mexican food and North American comfort food, especially on their breakfast/brunch menu. If you like treats like Scones and cake, there is quite the selection here as well. We ate: - Chilaquiles: Amazingly creamy and just the right amount of spice. The owner told us that they make the sauce daily from scratch! - Stuffed French Toast: The inside had an orange marmalade with powdered sugar and fruit on the outside. Such a great cheat meal! - Beef Machaca: The beef machaca combo plate had chilaquiles, a fried egg, refined beans and a slow-cooked beef that was bursting with flavor. - Nutty mango yogurt smoothie: They pick the mango during peak ripe season and freeze it for the rest of the year so the smoothies always taste 100%. While I didn't eat the bagels, they do have a great bagel menu that taunted me the entire time ;) There is a rooftop patio as well as the main space indoors to sit and eat. They have live music Tuesday to Sunday 9am to noon and Tues/Thurs 5pm to 8pm. Great place for both breakfast and lunch! Easy to walk to from the cruise port or any bus stop in centro. We will be back for sure!

While at another restaurant close by, we met the owner's husband walking by. He invited us to come back which we did. He recalled us and we had a fabulous breakfast on the upper outside patio. Beautiful scenery, great coffee selection and food. Thank you Pablo and our server, Laura!

This is a true jewel of a coffee shop and restaurant. The lovely couple who have created this space from a totally derelict wreck of a building have established a beautiful three story spot. Wonderful rooftop deck, just a block off the Plaza Machado. there are wonderful homemade pastries and scones, great bagels, breakfast lunch and dinner entrees with great imagination and careful preparation. A truly "go to" spot.

What a treat it was to find a restaurant that has it all. Location, great food, cheerful staff, a little bit of music and an historic building renovated so you can appreciate its old world charm. We had a Mexican breakfast. The eggs were served as asked. The beans were hot a tasty and the tomato sauce so yummy. Esinti also has GF options. Pancakes made with coconut flour and GF toast on request. I liked the house coffee and my husband enjoyed his cappuccino. My friends love the lunch and scones and Cinnamon buns. Gotta go back and try them.

I came for breakfast on the roof two times. Lovely setting, decent food. The waiter seemed a bit clueless, but my food was good. They know how to make a good cortado, and that can be imortant to some of us coffee drinkers!
