Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Beautiful spot, welcoming and warm folks, and delicious food - we so much enjoyed our lunch and experience at Ranch Escapade. A very special location with a gazebo on the shore, with swings to relax on an enjoy the view of the bay and Tobago Cays. We had lunch in the garden but the inside of the restaurant is lovely too. Delicious amberjack meal and a fish sandwich. Yum! It's a short and pleasant walk from Saline Bay, and a longer one from Salt Whistle. You can also contact the restaurant for a free pick-up/drop-off in their van from any location. Will definitely go back.

Intrigued by the signs leading you to The Ranch Escapade, we took the short walk over to the windward side of Union Island. To our delight we had a wonderful time and a great meal. The setting is “oh so tropical” and not pressed in by other businesses. The view out on the Tobago Keys is epic, with all of the varied blue hues you expect in places like the South Pacific. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner which the chef made from scratch. The pumpkin soup was the best we have had in the islands and the fish, mine done with creole spices, was perfect. No bland overdone fish here. My wife is vegan and when we visited early in the day, she spoke with the chef who offered a special vegan meal. My wife really enjoyed the meal and appreciated the special effort. Friendly staff, great food and beautiful island setting. What more can you ask?

What a great spot in Mayreau for relaxing time and drinks in the afternoon. This is The best restaurant/ bar on the island and the location it’s like “Caribbean Dream”. The beautiful long beach to walk and the view of Tobago Cays are breathtaking. If you don’t like the 20 min walk; call them and the owner will come pick you up with his van

We dined here sunday afternoon, taking the short walk from Saline Bay over. The setting on the windward side beach gives an unmatched view of the Tobago Cays and emerald bay. The building is newly constructed to provide open air dining with just a nice breeze inside while the wind may be 20 knots outside. The beach provides shaded sitting spaces as well. The food was very good and portions just right (we had lobster sandwich for $45EC, with fries, and was plenty for lunch). The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Ranch Escapade also features live local music (guitar, ukulele, and conga) while dining. It is more than worth the walk over, and Ranch Escapade will bring you by car if you prefer (but the walk is on a dirt road and only 5 minutes or so from the beach of Saline Bay, well marked by signs along the way).

This lovely restaurant is on a very secluded beach on Mayreau Island. It’s so picturesque even after the terrible damage from Hurricane Beryl.
The menu is limited at this time as the restaurant is rebuilding but the food was excellent and delicious. I had the red snapper creole style and the rum punch was also excellent.
Definitely make your way to see them and bring cash as services are limited and no cards at the moment. They are a short walk from Saline beach and they offer rides back after dark.
Please visit them….

Timothy came by our boat and told us about this great restaurant on mayreau so we walked over from saline bay to the ranch for lunch with friends wow what view as you walk the path to the restaurant. we received a warm welcome from the owner munro and friendly staff. Food was great, atmosphere warm and friendly. In the coming months they'll become more self sufficient after solar panels get installed.
True Caribbean feeling and genuinely beautiful people living and working in mayreau we shall definitely return next season

We had a nice walk and enjoyed the fun signs along the way and arrived at the most beautiful setting, had a friendly welcome, delicious meal and were given a ride back to Saline Bay by Munro the owner. The food was amazing I keep thinking about how yummy the fried plantains and ribs were. Definitely a unique spot and worth the walk!

Had a lovely red snapper dinner at the Ranch along with some great pina coladas. Munroe and his team have suffered greatly as a result of Hurricane Beryl but are slowly building back the business. They re opened a few weeks ago.
The location is stunning being located on the windward side of the island overlooking Tobago Cays. Very secluded.
One of the few restaurants open in Mayreau following the hurricane and well worth a visit.
The island and all its delightful residents need all the support they can get to build back their tourism industry and their lives.

After a small walk into a path you do not know what is at the end... you discover such an amazing place. Feels likes a little piece of paradise. The food is excellent, must try the soup really really good. The lobster deliciously tasteful, chicken, and of course the plantain. We tried rhum punch in many places, but there they serve you the best one, it's a must with nutmeg spice..... so good. You must try this place if you are in the Grenadines (Mayreau island). The hosts are very kind abd welcoming.

This is a fantastic hidden gem that we were so pleased to find. Kenta and Munro are lovely hosts who are happy to chat, give local knowledge and generally made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent and the outlook from The Ranch is absolutely glorious. If you visit Mayreau and don’t visit The Ranch Escapade, you will have missed something very special. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back a second time.

Fabulous lunch of snapper and conch cooked creole style. Great cocktails. A must experience spot a short and interesting walk over the hill from the main beach area. Has its own private beach with amazing views, plenty of comfy couches and indoor and outdoor seating and even a couple of swings! Kenya was our gracious and hospitable server who filled us in on island life and history. Don’t miss this place!

We were on a cruise and Monroe picked us up for a complimentary ride to his private beach and restaurant. Absolutely beautiful location and excellent food. So good that we are going back this week. If you want lobster make sure to tell him in advance. Thanks for sharing this slice of heaven!

Had dinner and drinks, cajon snapper and lamb. The food beat our expectation, perfectly cooked, great flavour. Spent most of the evening talking to the owner Munro, really great guy. Highly recommend this place. The beautiful setting alone is worth going to for happy hour, add to that the fantastic food and its a real winner.

I was just overwhelmed with the location, scenery, friendliness, and food. Made it seem like I was on the tv show Death in Paradise.
