Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good food in an airy restarutn - althogh the restaurant was part of a reception and bar area and was sited between a swimming pool courtyard and the road. (Road not really an issue since itwsa well below the lelve of the restaurant.) Pleasant enough...but I would not agree with the Bradt travel guide description of it s "upmarket".More

We initially walked to Savvys along Grand Anse for lunch. The place looked inviting and the food good. However, we soon learnt that the the service was characterised by studious indifference and at best glacial in speed. Nevertheless, the food was excellent when it appeared....For example a 40 minute wait for two boules of ice cream, the kitchen was stacked up apparently. On the strength of the food we decided to book for an evening meal. We were told this was possible and left our details. Duly arrived at the appointed time to find the restaurant full and our booking non-existent. We explained we had a booking, which was checked on the system. Incongruous to us we were then told they do not take bookings!!! There was an insincere apology and the offer of a table away from the restaurant. We gave up at this point and went to Umbrellas.More

By far the best service we have had thus far!! The meal was excellent as well, everything was perfect. We had low expectations given the service and food we have experienced so far BUT was pleasantly surprised! Bravo, great service and food can be found...in Grenada! We will be back!More

We’ll keep it brief because there isn’t much good to say about this place, except that it’s on the beach. We were pointed to our seats (don’t move). We sat there for 15 minutes without menus or water. When I got up to get menus...I was scolded by the waitress. “I’ll be right there” she said. Another 15 minutes passed so I thought I would order my own drinks from the bar which was right behind me. Still seated, I turned around only to be face-to-face with a big unattractive bare butt. Yuck. (Have some class…wear a cover-up when you go into a restaurant.). We left. The very kind & friendly security guard asked if we enjoyed our meal. That’s how long we were there without the slightest bit of attention.. OK so not so brief. Sorry.More

Booked a reservation 6 weeks in advance online before arrival in Grenada . Looked forward to a nice dinner at the restaurant upstairs but when we arrived we were told that the dinner was served at the Beach Cabana on Friday,Sat and Sunday. Was very...disappointed as I had already had BBQ for lunch that day and the limited menu served at the Beach Caban had nothing that I liked. Had wine and dessert on the beach instead but was able to rebook for that Thursday nite upstairs and very much enjoyed the meal. Would warn people to ask ahead about the location of their reservationMore

We stayed at the resort for a holiday and ate here many times. Every time was very good. Many times i had the organic greens salad with shrimp or fish. My husband had the roti three times for lunch. We ate a couple times for...dinner here and it was very good also. Service can be slow, but that seems to be the case nearly everywhere. Dinner will either be served on the beach, certain nights, or at the dining room in the resort.More

Food was average for the price however about half of the servers we had were extremely rude. It is clear that the staff has a culture of rudeness to the customers which is odd for a fancy restaurant. We had way better service at less...expensive restaurants.More

We were invited to Savvy’s by friends and were given some insights which really made us look forward to our dinner experience. Sadly, the true experience did not live up to the expectations. We arrived and asked for our table, which had been reserved. No...table made up for the booking so a hasty scattering of staff to find a table. We then ordered drinks and waited…. Until the waitress returned…. To take our meal order. Ordered food and asked for the drinks too and were told they are coming. Food arrived after about 20 minutes but still no drinks so asked again, so more hasty scattering of staff to get drinks. Food was good, but small portions for the price. There was a singer on the beach too who was entertaining and did help to take the mind off the poor service. They also lit two fires where you could then toast marshmallows… except there weren’t any available. More hasty scattering of staff who, by this time were also trying to cope with a full bar and restaurant. In all, the service was poor and almost begrudging, food was nice but not value for the price and the whole experience was underwhelming. Service is an issue in Grenada anyway but this place took it to another level and not in a good way. There are other places far better in my opinion so wouldn’t recommend or go back, sorry.More

Great service, great food, great spot. We are vegetarian and the food was lovely, just the right portion size, and really well seasoned and thoughtfully cooked. Expensive, but I think we will go again on our last night here to celebrate a wonderful holiday.

We thought we were reserving a table at the restaurant on the hill, but when we arrived, we learned that only the beach bar was open on weekends. It was a pretty setting at the beginning of Grand Anse Beach, but the food was very...disappointing. There were no appetizers offered, and the entrees were mediocre. There was a singer, whose style was not at all pleasing to us.More

Wonderful dining spot for a lovely evening. We are staying at the resort and eat here almost every night - why would we go anywhere else? Chef Jason has brought new choices to the menu with creative dishes, lots of local flavour and choice. Starters...are all new and scrumptious. Try the watermelon and feta salad. Wonderful fish and seafood dishes. And don’t miss dessert - try the nutmeg ice cream!More

Really good food & ambiance. The Kingfish was superb. It was a treat to sit in the outdoors and listen to the sea lapping in the bay. I loved the atmosphere and calmness.

Great spot for lunch. We came here on our last day in Grenada as it looked great right at the end of Grand Anne beach, where we were staying. They opened at 12 noon. My partner had the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and I...had the catch of the day which was barracuda. It came on a bed of mash potato which was a bit cold but the fish was delicious. I’d be happy to come back.More

What a lovely “last minute” dinner this was! I was roaming around on trip advisor trying to pick a place for dinner and I came across this restaurant. Staff: Amazing from start to finish. The main host, I believe his name was Rohan, offered to...help my husband with our baby’s stroller. The waitresses were all very kind and sociable. We love that the bartender came to chat with us after he made our nice strong drinks! Ambience: So, the staff said that they had a number of guest departures that day, so we were the only ones in the restaurant which was fine by us. It’s a lovely set up and was nice and quiet! Food: Excellent food and very nice portion sizes for fine dining. I had the chicken, butternut squash and vegetables and my husband had the shrimp pasta. Both were delicious. No leftovers for us. It’s not “cheap eats” but it a very nice restaurant for a nice dinner out while on holiday.More

The food was delicious and the service was great. We were seated immediately at a table of our preference (since it was a Thursday) and very few people were dining. We enjoyed the beautiful ambience and island scenery (mountainside lights). Sounds of nature were subtle...and pleasant. I was celebrating my birthday and the staff brought me a chocolate dessert and sang Happy Birthday. It was a wonderful experience! Note: We did find the portion sizes to be smaller than the other restaurants that we visited. However, the food was nicely prepared and presented.More
