Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The ambiance and service is unmatched. Lovely Wine and cocktail selection. The food however is subpar, Beautifully presented though.

We sat down for a nice dinner in their elegant restaurant only to be surrounded by the fog of insecticides. It was not possible to avoid inhaling the poison. We hurriedly paid for the 2 glasses of wine that had been served but not consumed....They charged us OVER $80 US!! I called the next day to advise the Manager, who never responded after I explained this ridiculous situation. I would AVOID this place.More

We were so looking forward to our meal here. From the moment we arrived we could tell they were short staffed . No one ‘owning’ the floor , staff doing their very best to keep everyone happy . Felt sorry for them as most tables...not happy about speed of getting drinks or food. The food was ok but nothing special at all. Disappointing experience and was very expensive .More

Peaceful ambiance, pleasant professional staff. Our palette was pleasantly blown away by the delicious food. Shannon the restaurant manager's recommendation of drinks were outstanding and he ensured that our glasses were always filled as we celebrated the end of our daughter's high school exams.

We had visited before in the evening, and enjoyed very much. So planned a daytime visit on this trip. From the the front gate at 11am to the goodbye from reception at 6:15 pm, the service was truly exceptional. The resort is simply stunning, every...detail has been so well planned. We had the day pass which provides a drink and food package, a few things are not available like bubbles or aged rum but everything else we could think of drink wise was on the list, and the food was delicious. The grouper was outstanding! Even though you are on Grand Anse beach, which is huge, it feels private and special. However, there is no pretentiousness, just the warmth, smiles and humour of Grenada. The amazing pool, beach beds, cabanas and beach lounge are all yours to enjoy, and we certainly did. Without question it’s not cheap but given what you get it’s very good value. We have visited a few luxury beach clubs and spent more on a pizza and a couple of glasses of wine!More

Beautiful hotel and the pool alone is worth a visit. Great menu and reasonably priced food and staff are excellent. The only negative I have is that the wine list pricing is astronomical and not inline with the food or cocktail menu. Our meal for...4 came to just under $700 US (for two courses). Menu prices exclude 15% tax and 10% service charge so adding 25% to a bottle of wine where the options start at around $90 US was steep. With cocktails at $15 US it just seemed out of kilter.More

Unfortunately it wasn’t authentic thai food. We were expecting the normal explosion of flavours, hot, sour, sweet and salty but it wasn’t there. The green papaya salad had more carrot, which shouldn’t be in the salad there were no long beans in it, it wasn’t...hot, sour or salty it had no fish sauce and the peanuts were burnt. The beef masamsan curry was just too sweet and didn’t have any other of the Thai flavours in it, the beef in the stir fry was tender but the vegetables were over cooked and once again lacked the traditional thai flavours. We did speak to the waitress and let them know we were disappointed, they were sorry and we didn’t pay for our mains. The starters were ok, lacking the flavours we were expecting. We were just expecting more from a five star expensive hotel and restaurant. The staff were attentive and the restaurant setting was beautiful. Please get your chef a David Thompson Thai cook Book for Christmas!!More

I was staying at this hotel and they have two restaurants. Although Asiatique is their flagship one I definitely preferred this one. It's more relaxed and the food is much better. They have some great dishes. The starters of the coconut prawns and tuna tartare...are amazing. The catch of the day is always a winner and their roti is great too. I was in love with the home made ice creams at this place so definitely try them or even the sorbets. Actually their desserts are really great. Service is always on point and the cocktails are delicious. I would avoid their buffet though not that great and not much variety. I think being in Grenada and having such great dishes it is a shame that this place doesn't do local cuisine given its name! However, the food is good. Of course expensive!More

I was staying at this resort and thought I'd try their "upmarket" Far East restaurant. The only positive I have hence the extra point are the Amazing staff who look after you well! That's where it ends...Food is terrible, not an authentic dish in sight and...I tried a few! Having been fortunate to travel to the far east and frequent Thai restaurants run by Thai people I can honestly say the food here is not authentic. Yes nice ingredient and presentation but no real flavour and the prices they charge are ridiculous. I had dinner a couple of times here and heard many diners complain about the food. Silversands cannot rest on their excellent hotel reputation as the food is a major let down and they will lose customers.More

The staff here is amazingly friendly and very professional. Prices - are very reasonable , about half the cost of a comparable establishment in the US. The food, view and ambience is the best on the island, the best on many islands. If you’d like...an elegant experience, Asiatique is it. I’ve been for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks - each time it’s an amazing new flavor. 5 stars, 10/10 would recommend.More
