Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were unable to get service when it was on BBC. They have been replaced, but new owners weren't any friendlier.

No longer open for any meals prepared by Bruno. May possibly open again sometime in the future under new management. A relatively new venture which never made it.

We were refused service a year ago, even though the restaurant was empty. They have moved to the other side of the island and we haven't heard anymore about them. Was not impressed by their rudeness.

The view is great ... The food is so-so. The upper level is a good place to have a drink and watch the starts and the lights along the beach all the way over to St. George's ....

We arrived at Bruno's without booking. The atmosphere was lovely and the lights over the bay gave it a magical feel. We had only been discussing about finding a restaurant that served lionfish that afternoon (to help with the environment) and were delighted to discover...that they served it. It came with a great saffron sauce, rice and a local vegetable. It was delicious and we highly recommend it. My wife has a number of allergies and the waiter and chef (Bruno) were attentive and helpful to ensure that there were no problems. Overall a great experience and we would happily go backMore

Bruno the Chef picked us up from our hotel. He served his version of lion fish with saffron and rice. Try the creme brûlée made with passion fruit and mango. Loric was our server he was great too. Now the view... overlooking the sea and...cool breeze. Tres Jolie!More

We went as a family at around 7:30 PM and the place was pretty empty. We were seated on the 2nd floor with a great view of the bay and city. Despite the few people around, it took a while to take our order. It...took even longer for beverages and the food to arrive. They brought 2 of the 3 entrees we had ordered. We started eating and the food was quite good, I.e. seafood salad and pizza/flambé. Nice and fresh. The 3rd entree never arrived! It was also not easy to get refills for water. The servers were slow and didn’t seem overly motivated. Disappointing considering the otherwise good quality of the food and the great view. One more thing: the menu was a little limited. One page of the menu required advance food orders. Another page required that at least 2 portions were ordered. This eliminated 40% of the overall menu.More

We left here think that they were getting ready to close. They had a VERY limited menu the night that we arrived at Bruno's. They claimed to have refrigeration and staffing issues that day. They were out of stock on lots of bar selections. My...wife had lobster which was OK. I ordered a flambe skewer. When they served it to me, they sprayed in with some sort of fuel from a plastic plant mister. Because we were seated on a beautiful outdoor deck, the wind blew out the flames before the fuel could ever cooked off. That's what I tasted....fuel. We ordered a creme brûlée for dessert...same experience...same fuel spray, same fuel taste. Our server, I believe that her name was Molly, saved the night by being a pure joy. BUT I wouldn't go back.More

Somewhat off the beaten path, Bruno's was a short walk from our resort. We went there on a "non-cruise ship" day to enjoy dinner. We did not have a reservation. The person who met us at the door had a french accent and introduced himself...as Bruno. The atmosphere is great here. Great views of St. George's and Grand Anse. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were delicious. Seafood properly cooked and well presented. There are options on the menu that can be ordered in advance with a reservation, but the "unplanned" options are excellent. Recommended.More

This is a very welcome new restaurant in Morne Rouge. We had lunch there yesterday and had two wonderful tartiflettes washed down with a bottle of sauvignon and wonderful views of Morne Rouge and Grand Anse. We can't wait to get back there.
