Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Last day of our holiday with friends and thought we would have a special last dinner. Having visited this restaurant many times over the years we thought it would be ideal. As we were a large group we had to pre-order our food choices which...was fine. Service was not great...large group and one person serving, food was ok..two people had to ask where their sides were and one did not arrive so just canceled it. Dessert was served to all but one, waited and then had to ask where it was... the waitress said they didn't have any of this choice now. Crumble we have raved about in the past was served cold and a smaller portion than previously. All in all not the experience we have had at Secret Harbour in the past.More

Beautiful Saturday afternoon. Had to wait to be seated even though they barely had 6 tables and were not understaffed. Asked for a table near the window. Extra table settings were not removed. Menus not handed to us but dropped on the table 5 minutes...later with no mention of the specials, soup of the day or catch of the day. Started to engage with the waiter but she had to go. Another waiter came by 5 minutes later and asked what we were having, we asked about the specials and asked for more time to decide on our order, she didn’t seem pleased. 2 guests then walk in and were seated at a nearby table. A few minutes later after an unpleasant exchange between a server and the guests, they storm out, clearly upset. We waive to a waitress who says she is coming back. Another waitress arrives to take our order, she didn’t seem to know about the contents or ingredients in many of the dishes and had to go “find out.” Appetizer comes out 25 minutes later, a tuna poke bowl, the worst we’ve ever tasted. Barely pick at it and when the server comes back and we tell her we are done and she may clear the plate, she says “you sure? You barely touched the food.” We let her know that it wasn’t good, she makes a face and takes the plate. She is hardly two steps away from the table when she shouts out to the supervisor and holds up the plate to her. A few minutes later a very disgruntled chef appears, doesn’t introduce himself, and just says “Tuna Poke Bowl” while staring at us. We acknowledge that it was our table that ordered it. We say it didn’t taste right, we didn’t like it and we’ve had much better elsewhere, he doesn’t wait until we are finished, starts talking over us and says he’s been selling them all week with no complaints and then basically says nothing is wrong with it and it’s just our personal opinion, then storms off. We still get charged for it. After another 10 minutes, the food comes out, burger was supposed to be well done, some parts are raw inside. Fish entree is cold and has clearly been sitting in the kitchen for a while. But after our experience with the intimidating chef, we decided not to say anything, to finish our meal and leave. All staff stayed away from the table since the incident and then brought the bill to the table before we were finished eating because it was the end of her shift and she wanted to go home. They don’t care about customers, quality of food or customer service and there is clearly a big problem with management and the chef. All staff seemed disgruntled and like they didn’t want to be there. There were no redeeming qualities about this restaurant or the experience. There are lots of great restaurants in Grenada but this one doesn’t even rate 1/5. Won’t be returning.More

Half the items on the short menu were unavailable. One meal sent back due to poor preparation and cooking. A roti arrived at room temperature. The third person ordered only a starter which arrived long after everyone else served. Service pleasant, but confused and desultory.

I have tried now for 3-4 years to be polite to the big burly bartender but tonight was the last straw. I asked to pay for one dinner and 2 glasses of wine .That man is the biggest disservice to the restaurant. There were 2...chicken dinners on the bill- one of which was someone else’s in our party.I questioned that a chicken cost $65 He sneered and told me -“do you want to bet thats what it costs?” I was flabbergasted The young waitress was fabulous and sorted it out. I looked at him and said”I’m so sorry,my bad “ meaning he should apologize and nothing ,nada from him No wonder it’s empty,if you’re dealing with a waitress -fabulous but never order from him-terrible. Never a welcome ,hello but a sneer if you can even catch his attentionMore

This evening my wife and I came to have dinner on the basis that the restaurant closes at 10pm. We arrived at 8.46pm to be told by a very rude and arrogant man that last orders are at 8.45pm. Unbelievable!! One lazy guy cost the...business the revenue from dinner with a bottle of wine. I hate to say it but he was of different ethnicity from either of us. We had a great week in Grenada and this was our last dinner. He should be fired.....More

The bartender was very rude when I ordered a beer. Acted like he had a million other things to do and the restaurant had very few patrons.

Secret Harbour was in our immediate neighbourhood on our current visit to Grenada so we called to advise of a lunch booking for two and headed over to the marina restaurant on a perfect sunny afternoon. First impressions were wonderful of a very modern styled...facility with great overlook of the adjacent marina and harbour. Staff were well dressed as were the fully attired kitchen staff across the open counter. Covid protocol was a bit lax at reception though we were the only customers so not a big issue. Drinks came quickly and the food when finally served was decent. However in between we were amazed as dock staff and maintenance came back and forth to the main bar for takeout, as multiple other restaurant staff carried on a banter across the serving counter, deliveries were made, management came to and fro to add to the general discussions and added to a general melee of over 10 staff and others, all unmasked, while we waited 30 minutes for even some French fries to play with and had to ask for those. There may have been music playing through the room speakers but hard to tell. We ate quickly and then decided to wait for further attention ( only customers there ) out of curiosity. Finally after no attention as to further drinks or food ( I had inquired initially about dessert availability) we signalled for the bill, masked and left. I felt sorry for the investors who seem to have all the components but none of the management required to make this work out as it should.More

Had lunch today and had the chicken wrap which was awful. Chicken was tough and there were whole peppercorns in the wrap. My friend had the spicy fish appetizer and felt it was subpar also. We saw our food sit under the lights ready to...go for quite a while, even though there were 3 waitresses/bar maids on duty. Waited almost an hour for the food to be delivered. Also had to go up to the counter to get the bill because no one was paying attention. Mentioned the poor chicken to the chef who had it taken off the bill. I was grateful for that and it kept me from giving the rating a 1.More

Enjoyed a very amazing lunch today - “catch of the day” which happened to be tuna! Cooked to perfection and drizzled with a lemon butter sauce and served with crunchy roasted vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes! Well done chef Sherinton! I’m impressed yet again

We decided to check out this place as it was on my list. The location is nice and great views odd the water and yachts, we were dressed casually during the day and went to the bar where we had a cocktail. Service was good...and prompt. I liked the environment I would love to dine here next time.More

A great looking venue that is totally ruined by lack of attention to detail, lack of staff training and lack of staff all together! Phenomenal wait time for food, especially in between courses and when it finally arrived it was average at best! Small canteen...style paper napkins, attempts at re using first course cutlery again for the second course and a very limited and low quality selection of wine. Guests all received their food at different times and two orders were completely forgotten Where is the gravitas and quality to accompany the great venue? Needs a complete rethink!More
