Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best meal yet on Grenada. This was outstanding. From the scallops with pineapple chutney to the filet...it is an outstanding restaurant. The staff is fantastic. George the bartender is outstanding. The setting is fantastic. The price point is just what you would expect for the...quality that you receive. We will be back here for sure.More

Terrible food.. simply awful. Some context - I live in London and I was staying at the Spice island resort. There are many carribean restaurants in London and I understand what carribean seasoning is. I feel compelled to write this review due to the poor...quality of food and a young lady waitress who took my feedback quite poorly. Whilst she accepted calabashes dishes were watered down, she proceeded to explain how I should convey this message. Nonetheless, I will keep this review objective and about the food quality. My wife had the fish dish and I had the curry goat (see picture of receipt). The fish was dry and tasteless, the curry goat had no sauce and lacked any seasoning.. the starters were poor. All in all the food was poor and I would give a 0 if I could. As I mentioned earlier I am staying at spice island beach resort and Ramces Castillo is the current Head Chef, he previously worked at calabash hotel hence why the food was so bad when we went there (Calabash). Bear in mind it's called Rhoades because a famous chef opened the restaurant, whilst he was there I'm sure it was good but he has since left, so no point going there if junior chefs who can't really cook are making the food. Ramces Castillo is a wonderful chef and calabash are suffering from the loss.More

Dinner at Rhodes is for 60+ melanin-deficient couples. The food was very just ok. But the staff was lovely. Would not go back.

Ou top pick to eat in Grenada. Lovely open air restaurant looking on to gardens with a vine trellis roof. Relaxed atmosphere and good live music at an approriate volume. Top quality food - interesting dishes using many Caribean ingredients beautiflly presented (by the way...we often eat at Michelin one star places). We enjoyed it so much we booked to come again on the final night of our holiday (even though dinner and drink was inlcuded in the price of our htoel).More

Rhodes was an excellent experience! My husband and I were on the island for an extended weekend to celebrate my birthday. We dined at Rhodes on my birthday and it was a beautiful evening. The service was great, the ambience was romantic and lovely with...live music, and the food was so delicious! We are still raving about that lobster gnocchi. If you’re looking to celebrate something special or have a really beautiful dinner, this is your spot.More

Because we were not guests of the hotel we could only reserve dinner after 8pm. They have a very unique menu and serve those with allergies excellently. The menu is well marked with common food allergens which was so helpful in my situation. We had...some very elevated food and taste experiences this evening. We will definitely return here when we come back to Grenada.More

The restaurant is at the front of the property near reception, there is no view of the beach, however it’s very charming and elegant in the evening. The piano bar area was a relaxing area to enjoy a pre-dinner drink, where we were entertained by...an excellent jazz guitarist. Seating was very comfortable and tables well spaced out, service was of a high standard and very personable, they had some good wines on the list but and a touch more staff knowledge in this area would be helpful. Fish dishes were excellent, the pepper pot beef was sweet rather than spicy which was not to my personal taste. Got a few nibbles from the mozzies around the feet, so bring some repellent or I am sure the restaurant will provide but they got me before I realised they were active, my bad, usually well prepared for the little blighters or indeed biters! All in all, a very good evening and would certainly return when I get the opportunity.More

Excellent food and service was outstanding. It is expensive . Most customers were 60+. We were the only ones there with a small child . One of the best panna cottas I had in my life , not too sweet , tastes almost like a...yogurt . Chef’s appetizer with cauliflower had no flavor for some reason . Raw mahi mahi and entrees were great . Would definitely come back .More

Delicious food. Staff were attentive and kindly moved our table to accommodate the needs of my elderly father in law. There is a beautiful roof covered in an orchid with flowers hanging down which is a really spectacular sight to see. Dress code didn't seem...so strictly enforced. Recommend for a posh dinner on the island.More

We were a party of 8 adults. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch on top of the regular beautiful orchids that had from the ceiling. We waited for our table in a nice comfortable seating area near piano player. We were served drinks quite...quickly. Once seated the menu was terrific. We had many different starters and man in courses. Everything was terrific. The wine menu is good with fair price selections. The service was outstanding from start to finish.More

Changes daily, very fresh. The chef has beautiful presentation and they get their food from a local farm and fisherman. I saw them bringing the fish in. Recommend, although it is hard to get a res!
