Location 10/10, food 10/10, service about 3/10. We visited numerous times over a two month stay in grenada. Always had to wait an absolute age even to order a drink or receive a menu. Most table staff didn't have a clue, the odd one tried...her best. Shame really, If the lunchtime service was improved it really would be on my top 3 of places I have eaten in the Caribbean EVER.More

My husband and I always go to aquarium when we are in Grenada. We are usually happy with the service. In this trip I brought my family to the restaurant. The chefs are great - the food is good. The guys on the bar are...great as well. The restaurant is let down by a few really miserable waitresses who make you feel so uncomfortable to ask for anything. It’s as if your presence is an inconvenience to them. I do think the place needs oversight as I am mindful that when the owner is around things feel different. When you are paying $700 for dinner you want to leave feeling happy. Although the food was good the attitude spoilt the experience and then to be told there was a compulsory $56 tip on the bill was the worst!!More

My husband and I enjoyed a leisurley, delicious lunch at this casual, pretty outdoor/covered patio restaurant. On Sundays, the entire menu is grilled. Servers were friendly and explained the various menu choices. We had to have the fresh grilled fish, prepared two ways. Several sides...of veg/potatos/salads offered. Chose a lovely bottle of French rose wine. Apparently, the entire large restaurant fills up every Sunday afternoon as live music is offered at 3pm. We were told by several people at the hotel where we were staying that reservations are crucial as it is a very popular place. Gorgeous views. Recommended! Food was outstanding.More

We booked the restaurant after great reviews but unfortunately our visit was very disappointing! Our reservation was at 7.15pm, we arrived on time but it was not the greatest welcome we received. Once at the table a very helpful young Waitress came to take our...drinks order, worryingly she liked to talk rather than concentrating on what we wanted. 2 bottles of wine ordered, one turned up, for me 20 mins later to go and ask for the other bottle. We ordered our food & starter arrived at 8.15pm, a bit of a wait & no water top up or service during that time. Then another 1 hour wait for our mains. I ordered the seafood linguine, this was tasteless, bland and the shrimps were like bullets, my Wife’s and Sisters orders were wrong as in the sides and at this point 9.15pm we were just past it. All around us other people were waiting for food or continually asking for their bills. After complaining about our experience my main was removed from the bill but we were not made to feel welcome on arrival, staff incompetence & very normal food didn’t add up to what the bill was, in my opinion.More

I made a reservation weeks ahead of time for a Sunday lobster brunch/ grilling as advertised by the way, for noon. I got there a little before noon and they said they did not open until 12:30. They then advised us they have not had...lobster for months! They also had a bad attitude to boot. We ordered some Mahi instead. Realize we were the first ones there. It took an hour and 20 min to get food. There e excuse was a mix up on the order. Right.More

The restaurant has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The food and drinks were top-notch, with a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The dishes were deliciously prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative flavors. However, despite the stunning view and excellent food and drinks,...the service was quite disappointing. Staff responsiveness and attentiveness fell short, impacting our overall dining experience. Improving the service quality could significantly enhance the overall appeal of this otherwise wonderful restaurant.More

This place is tucked away not far from the airport, but so beautiful. We were there for dinner and saw the sunset--awesome view across the water to town. The food could have been better. I had the coconut shrimp and it was so rich and...fried and the sauce was really heavy; I could not finish it. Customer service was slow. But worth going for the view!More

Beautiful setting. But—Food and service fair. Seems this restaurant is living off its prior reputation and locale. Drinks were prepared improperly (not dry, no twist ). Wine on list not available. Fish was overcooked. Staff was ok but felt like we were doing them a...favor by being there.More

The Aquarium is one of our top 3 restaurant picks in Grenada. The location is right on the water, the place is unique and beautiful, and the food is excellent. As with our other Top 3, make a reservation as it is always bust there....The food is great on any evening, but the menu changes on Sunday. Sunday is bar-b-que or "grill night". Not that we need an excuse, but Sunday is an excuse to go back more than once a week. The food is prepared on a grill. Be sure to try the pork chop prepared on the grill, While it is one of the least expensive things on the Sunday menu, it is delicious. Get it with the cauliflower au-gratin and a side of grilled tomatoes with melted chees on top, WARNING: You may need to share! We can't wait to go back there and we will very soon.More

I can only speak for our family, but after a week of visiting the island and eating at several places, this was the worst overall experience. It's expensive for what you get. Parking is absurd. And although the food was reasonable, the service was atrocious,...and I do not use that word lightly. You can do much better.More

First the positive…amazing view. Now the rest….hands down the absolute worst service I’ve had in any restaurant anywhere in the world in the last 50 years. And the food was horrible too. We were there 45 minutes before we got our drink order taken. Ordered...a Mai Tai. Standard drink right? Nope. First time in my life I’ve ever sent a drink back. I don’t know what the hell it was but it certainly wasn’t a Mai Tai. If it had at least tasted good I would have kept it. But no. It was horrible. Then, 2 hours after arriving and still hadn’t received our food (or a visit from one of the waitresses in the intervening period) my wife went up to inquire about our meal…only to find it sitting under the heat lamp being ignored. They finally brought it over. Fish was way overcooked. Vegetables were way undercooked. We were polite and friendly the whole time and through all interactions, as were the waitstaff. They just happen to suck at their job. Never, NEVER come here to eatMore

If service is important to you, don’t go! We made reservations in advance for a special birthday for a friend of ours and her husband. We told them that we chose them for the lobster and conch (lambie). Upon being seated with no interest by...our waitress, and ordering drinks, we were told that they were out of..you guessed it, lobster and conch. With disappointment, we decided to stay for a meal anyway. We ordered table tasters (Malaysian lamb and Cornish hen). Arrived promptly on the table. No small plates to eat on. She forgot. The food began to grow cold when she returned with 3 plates for 4 people. We waited again for plate 4. Now to order dinner. I asked, what do you recommend. The response was I don’t know. I never eat de food here! Wow! So we order. 15 mins later she returns and asks if we would like to have some dessert now!! We all look at her and had to remind her that our dinner order had yet to be served. She goes to check. Not once did she ask btw if everything was good with our appetizers. We decided that we should request a different waitress as now we are not sure if our order even went in. Our next server was better and assured us that the order did indeed go in. The food arrives. Baby back ribs, shrimp and pork medallions. The ribs and shrimp was decent enough but the pork was overcooked and not very tasty. A few flying cockroaches and a dog live at the restaurant btw. I love dogs but not in a restaurant. Our guest is deadly afraid of dogs. After dinner a slice of birthday cake arrived sparkling just dropped on the table. Another couple had a birthday and all the staff sang and clapped. We had no such experience. All in all, the food was okay. Unremarkable really. The ambiance is great…on the beach, lovely setting. It was the service that really killed the night. A Grenadian friend did warn us that it was hit or miss. I was hoping for a hit. We got a miss! Too bad. Lots of potential. Finally, cruise ships come in on Wednesdays. They should KNOW to have more lobster and conch to be ready for dinner. Poor planning. We will not be back. Gonna try for lobster and conch today at a couple other restaurants. Hopefully a better experience.More

The venue and setting is beautiful. Food is ok, but the service is awful. We’ve been visiting the restaurant for years and whilst the service has always been a bit hit and miss, it was pretty terrible this time. We asked to move to one...of two empty tables which had nice outlooks but was told no as they were reserved. They weren’t occupied by 10 pm, and when we asked why got a vague response. Staff acted like they are doing us a favour and are slow to respond to requests for assistance. Considering that this place isn’t cheap to eat at, more effort should be put in to recruiting and training staff. So disappointing as I love this place but will truly think twice before returning.More
