Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were not staying at the Hotel. Notwithstanding we were made very welcome. We went several times, having made reservations on the last 2 visits. The food and service was excellent. No wine list but very presentable bottles of merlot and rose were enjoyed. Limited...menu but everything we tried was great, and good value. Lovely location, bonfire and live music on two occasions. Not open during the week. Warmly recommended.More

Don’t eat here - I only booked here because I forgot to book my fav restaurant (aquarium ) and it was fully booked. Asked for baby high chair, it came dirty and I had to ask for it be cleaned. Expensive food for what you...actually get on your plate. I love spending money on good food. But THIS IS NOT IT. Food came cold so I returned mine the rest of the family ate theirs because they were hungry but I’d rather starve than eat cold food. Also they serve you sides like a buffet, not what i expected when i ordered my main. Sides also came 5 mins after the main. Stupid really. I was actually looking forward to having a nice meal and trying somewhere new on our last Sunday. Wish I went to KFC Cocktails and entertainment were good. It’s a shame really won’t be returning.More

We visited for lunch. Waited for 30 minutes just to place drinks orders. Drinks didnt arrive so went to bar to collect myself. Long delay to place food order, despite politely reminding staff we were ready to order. Waited over half an hour before chasing...up. Told food on its way. 15 minutes later still no sign. Collected another beer from bar myself as no sign of waiting staff. Food eventually arrived 45 minutes later, despite several reminders to staff. Food great once it arrived but by then I had lost the will to live and my wife and I were in a foul mood. We visit the Caribbean regularly and totally get island time, which is one of the attractions, but waiting 2 hours for lunch is stretching things. At no point did anyone apologise or explain the delay. Very annoyed that service is automatically added as it certainly wasn’t earned. I wouldn’t come back here if you paid me!More

During our stay at Mount Cinnamon, we ate lunch here everyday. The food is incredible, especially the lobster on our last day. The fish tacos are great as is the burger and the wraps. Would highly recommend! The Friday night BBQ dinner is a must....If you are staying elsewhere, you must try both the Beach Cabana and Savvy's. You wont't be sorry.More

The fish tacos and rotis are so so so good. The staff are all really friends and the cocktails are delicious, particularly the pina colada! Make sure you don't miss the Friday night beach bbq night, it was a highlight of our trip with wonderful...steel drum music and a bonfire for marshmallow toasting. The Cabana was amazing, this hotel wouldn't be the same without it! (it is also open to non hotel guests so pop along!)More

Had a nice lunch here. Not a cheap eat but good food. Umbrella’s is cheaper if you are on Grand Anse beach but not as nice setting. Food similar I would say.

We enjoyed our first meal in Grenada at the Beach Cabana - a delicious lunch overlooking the gorgeous water. Don't miss the Friday night BBQ bonfire, complete with s'mores and accompanied by a steel drum band!

We normally had the salads for lunch which were fresh and ok. The rum punches at this hotel are really good!

Went there for the fire on the beach, which was pretty much nothing. The menu was not available until we arrived. We had no idea it consisted of only 7 choices. Grilled lobster for 45 US consisted of nothing more than a tail since every...other part was burnt to a crisp. Mahi-mahi was good (24 US). Meals included a small shared salad, beans, rice, and half of a small potato per plate. Service started out okay, but after food was s served our waitress never returned. After about one hour, my husband went to the bar and bought a beer. When we finally got someone's attention for the check, the beer that he paid for was included on bill. Why? Because the bottle was on the table. They did reduce the bill by 10%. The bottom line is it is a nice setting, but I really expected better.More

We live on the island and wanted something to do with visiting family so we went to the Friday Night BBQ and Bonfire at Mount Cinnamon because friends recommended it. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The food is overpriced, but not unusual for Grenada and it...was better than you can usually find at the tourist spots. We were seated quickly, and the waitress was friendly. You do have to ask for drink refills but that is normal here. The bonfire was lovely and you there were things to make s’mores. My toddlers were in heaven. They ran in circles around the beach and bothered no one. There was a steel drum band that was lovely and not too loud and the atmosphere made the whole experience worth it. My husband and I already plan to return.More
