You will need to eat early, on the day we were there the restaurant took last bookings at 8pm. The food is well presented and plenteous. The vegetables were delicious.
What a delightful surprise to walk into the Lumberjack. The best seafood in the south- the battered fried or pan fried blue cod- beat out other (fancier) places along the coast. Our group also had the wonderfully prepared lamb rump steaks. Seriously, SO GOOD... don’t...More
Coffee was bellow par, watery and at $4.80 a cup not worth it. Service is slow. We waited ages just for a slice of cake!!! Very average.
Restaurant and Cafe at the main junction in Owaka. Probably a family run business with a friendly service. Reasonable prices. No WiFi.
We went to this restaurant for dinner twice in our 3 night stay at Owaka. Food and service were great. Perhaps you need to book beforehand as they want to ensure they are not too busy.
Local cafe feel with basic but yummy food. Good for lunch. Recommend the pork burger it was delicious!
Can recommend the muffins and carrot cake!! We went back a second time. The meals looked appealing so if we were in the area a bit longer we would have returned again.
