We ate here x3 nights on our 5 day stay in Carrapateira! Delicious food .. .and the BEST place to eat fish in the village. Friendly waiters and efficient service considering how busy, busy it is here . Everything cooked fresh . Amazing! You are best to book though as it is very full with locals and tourists every evening!
We went during the Covid situation but the whole place felt very clean and waiters were vigilant re santising everything between guests.

Called in and were able to get a table for 2. Very polite Waiters. Good choice of food on the menu. We went for bread and sardine pate followed by salmon fillet and tuna steak both came with veg and salad. Finished with chocolate cake, lime cheesecake and coffee. Throughly enjoy our fish course, no bones in the salmon fillet and both cooked beautifully.
Will go back again.

We ate dinner on our way back from going to Ronda for the day.
Nice large outdoor patio with views of the ocean.
We had drinks, bread, salads and main course. All were good and service was good too.
If you are driving back from Ronda, take a stop here to relax, have a couple cold ones and enjoy the view.

Two persons looking for a place to have lunch after a hard walk.
We arrived the place and the waiter offered us to let our bags out of the place (?). We asked to take them inside as we had there all our belongings. In a very rude way, the waiter insisted that we couldn't go inside with the bags, and that we should let them out on the street. He assured that it was a safe place with cameras.
We insisted that we'd like to keep them and he said the bags won't go inside.
When we were leaving without having eating a thing, they made several disrespectful comments about Spanish people. Unfortunately for them, I lived in Portugal for a year and was able to understand everything.

Just looking for money, food not that bad but expensive for the type of dishes. Waiter not pleasant, even arrogant. In order words, I was considered as a wallet. It was the second time that went and never again. This visit confirm the first impression. Run away from the place.

Very nice restaurant with lots of menu choices, all cooked fresh , seafood and meat. Clean, and friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced and open on Mondays , would highly recommend

Interesting surprise close to an amazing beach. Enjoy the typical grilled sardines with French fries and a beer.

This is a smallish restaurant in the centre of Carrapateira. It offers good draught beer after a long walk. The menu is limited but food is acceptable. The service is prompt to the extent of being rushed.

This is a convenient eaterie if you have a road trip to Praia do Amado & then go round the dirttrack coastal loop, which comes out adjacent to this restaurant....we found that the service & food was of reasonable quality & the tiramisu finished our meal off on a high....there's no great views, which is where the restaurant near Amado beach scores higher....

Very good restaurant. We had good fresh seafood and they bring it with a salad and vegetables. It has a homecook stile which is really nice.

Very good Dora with a lot of vegetables, french fries. The fish was well cooked and nicely served.

Decided to try here for lunch as nothing else was open - arrived just before 12:00 noon - waiter told us to photograph the menu then once shown to our table let him know what we wanted (some later guests took exception to this rule for some unknown reason).
Went for sardines with boiled potatoes & fresh veg while my wife went for chicken piri-piri with chips - both delicious & portion sizes were generous.
Whilst we there, a large queue formed outside waiting for tables so pleased we arrived early.

I ate lunch with my family in restaurante do cabrita and really enjoyed the food.
Great octopus salad with fresh bread.
Then, delicious grilled tuna steak and sardines with potatoes and legumes.
Restaurant very clean and organized. Good service.

Very friendly stuff , delicious fish soup and desserts . Everything fresh and tasty , we were served fast . Prices good. Close to a stunning beach . Ice-cream with burnt sugar delicious and safe for celiacs :)
