Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very cool location and good vibe, food was very nice and very well priced, however the service could of been a little bit better.

We stayed in an Airbnb next door. Absolutely best service and servers. Food was great, right on the beach. Warm tropical breezes. Couldn't ask for better.

Came for drinks at sunset and enjoyed the atmosphere. There was live music, cold drinks and great weather. The bar was pretty busy but we had managed to bag a great spot on the beachfront.

Do not really understand the hype about this bar. Stopped by in the afternoon and originally wanted to stay for the sunset and dinner. However, we only stayed for one drink. Not very friendly staff and no special atmosphere.

We stopped in for a late night drink and stayed to listen to the full set of the local entertainer who had such a lovely voice. We only had some beers and didn't order food, but the atmosphere and location of the bar was really...nice, even though it was pouring with rain!More

Love this place. Casual food and drinks by the sunset. Location is perfect and great for kids to run around on the sand while waiting for food. Menu is pretty basic and fairly high priced but the food is consistently good. Great place to go...on a clear afternoon to watch the sun setMore

We really enjoyed this spot for food & drinks; staying nearby (12-15 mins walk along the beach). Great live music in the evenings too! Good cocktails and beers etc to stay hydrated in the heat

Great location, good vibe and decent snack meals, only downer was the CC surcharge at 3.5%! Highest we saw on the Island, most places we went to on the Island absorbed the surcharge.

Great beachfront cafe, feet in the sand on the beach. We pulled in here on a whim as I just wanted to eat lunch beachfront and this didn’t disappoint. Great meals and lovely service. Well priced.

An awesome place to stay, we had a great time, rooms are spacious and the owner Al and manager Lisa went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A real homely feel. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rarotonga. We...will definitely stay there again.More

I want to give 5 stars for the OWNER'S INTEGRITY. This place flat out had the BEST fried fish I ever had in my life, that I can remember. Had fish and chips for lunch. AMAZING! LIGHT, VERY thin, CRISPY batter, with SUCCULENT, fresh, juicy...white fish inside, like SO tender! Fries crisp. Good salad. Enough to split for our light lunch. That same night, I got them again, told my partner I wasnt sharing. Crazy, BUSY night, people come from other hotels, because food is great AND generous portions. There was an unintentional mixup with them bringing my partner chicken instead of fish, but they fixed it. Unfortunately, probably due to mix up, both of our fish came out tough. Owner came by to apologize for chicken mix up, and asked us how fish was, and we told him, it wasnt like lunch, BUT lunch was like the BEST I ever had, truly. We lingered long, and when we went to pay, he had comped both our meals. He didnt even say anything, just did it. We never asked him to. That took integrity. Plus, he is a SUPER friendly, hands on owner, is available on the grounds and talks to his own customers. 5 Stars, highly recommend, wherever you stay.More

We ate dinner here and liked it so much we came back the next day for lunch! We had fish and chips (excellent light batter:) and ice cold beer from the local brewery while one of us worked remotely. Loved the casual and friendly vibe...here. The non-working one of us enjoyed the beach front location. Recommend highly for the 2nd time! This is also a kid friendly place as you can eat at picnic tables in the beach front sand:)More

The food was really delicious, the staff were friendly and the view was magical. The manager even gave my 2 children and I a ride back to our accommodation as we had no transport. Thankyou Lisa, you’re such a lovely lady ❤️
