The food at "Goldenes Rad" is delicious and the ambiance is very cozy! The owners Strubbi and Carmen are always welcoming and friendly and Chef Tommy creates the most mouth-watering dishes on a consistent basis. Whenever I'm in Germany, I make a point to stop by at this very special place!! It's always a tasty and most pleasant experience :)

The Goldener Rad is very popular with locals - it was crowded when we went in. The owner?/waiter asked two ladies if we could share their table and they made us very welcome. The menu was in German and they helped us to translate it, until the waiter realised he had given us German menus and brought English ones. Our lady friends recommended several dishes which we tried and they were excellent. The service was a little slow but nobody was in a rush to go anywhere and the food had obviously been freshly cooked. The ladies were also able to recommend where we should go the next morning to have tyres seen to as we had managed to get a slow puncture. (Not one but two nails in the same tyre.) They recommended one particular tyre shop as being good but reasonably priced. A good experience all round.

Lunch here was a feast of flavors! The food is delicious (tastes home made) and the service friendly. Very highly recommended.

We were driving on the autobahn and searching for a place. Found this trough trip advisor.
Had schnitzel with 🍟 and salad. In the nice biergarden.
