We visited around 2 PM in the afternoon and had to wait around 15-20 minutes for our indoor table, which was more than reasonable considering the waits we’ve had to deal with at other parts of the park. Our server was very friendly and she didn’t come across as somebody just putting on an act. We started with the Wyoming Wings and our only regret was that we got the half order, versus the full order. My daughter enjoyed the Signal Mt Chili, while I liked the Moran (tuna) melt. Finally, my daughter enjoyed her first taste of (organic) huckleberry ice cream and loved it. We definitely would come back and recommend!

The location next to the lake was beautiful and the menu provided a wide range of food options. There were some fresh trout options offered but we chose fish and chips, which looked and tasted like frozen cod. The huckleberry lemonade was very good, but the blackberry pie was undercooked, and I suspect also frozen. Our dinner was expensive and not very good. Unfortunately, there are few restaurant options in the area.

We are sorry that your meal was not up to your expectations. The fish and chips we serve are a frozen Pacific Cod from Alaska characteristically served in the food industry. The blackberry pie is made on site from scratch and is one of our most popular menu items, for which we usually receive rave reviews. We hope we get the opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future.

I heard from multiple people that the restaurants in Grand Teton and Yellowstone weren't that great. However, I read the great reviews about Trapper Grill. We decided to try it out and are glad we did. We got a table by the window (which has amazing views of the lake/boat area). Service was a little slow, but they were busy and the server was trying to take care of multiple tables. Everyone enjoyed what they had to eat and the prices really weren't that bad for eating in the parks. It took awhile to get the check, but again they were busy. If you are wanting to eat in Grand Teton, you should check-out Trapper Grill.

Ate here twice in five night stay in 2018. The view is fabulous across Jackson Lake to the Tetons but obscured by the smoke this time; bummer. Food quality was average at best with a very dry, overdone burger one night and fish and chips the next time which were okay for fish/chips. Service was great first time and good the second. They just don't do that great a job with seeing a lot of customers, but for the cost it's not a bargain. In 2020 both restaurants were closed at Signal Mt. Lodge, making it hard to eat out unless one wanted to drive into Jackson, which we did a couple of times. They still charged the same high rates with no consideration to patrons in the cabins even though services were drastically cut. Not a good way to treat folks if you want them to return, virus or no virus.

For lodge type accommodations where you are limited in dining choices it can often be disappointing and expensive. While the prices at Trappers are what I would expect in a vacation restaurant the dining experience was outstanding. The food was excellent and of the larger portion size, especially the nachos. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The view, even from the inside dining areas, was very nice (overlooking Jackson Lake). I was glad to be "stuck" with this dining option. You won't be disappointed.

The Lodge is closing in two weeks so the menu was limited, but we didn't come to eat a gourmet meal. My husband had Trout tacos, which were good. I had a smash burger and we shared a dessert. Our waitress, Abby, was very good and efficient. She made us feel very welcome.

We had visited here 6 years ago when passing through and both restaurants were open then. At the moment only the Trappers Grill is open and due to staffing issues and the pandemic there is a a limited menu. It has some choice but you would be a bit stuck if there for longer than a couple of days. The food and service was excellent though and all members of our party were happy with their choices. Our only issue on the first evening of our stay was that the decking was closed because it was now September (only just) - the weather was glorious, why would you sit inside with your drinks? After some negotiations and the drinks being placed in plastic not glass, we could sit outside, several others followed us! Rules are fine but flexibility is appreciated. Would be happy to eat there again if in the area.

Since we were staying at signal Mountain lodge we visited twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Our experience with dinner was sub par, however our experience with breakfast was great. Perhaps, we hit them on an off night. For dinner, we had about a 30 minute wait but once sat we waited a good additional 30 minutes to be helped. The waiter was incredibly overwhelmed, distracted and forgetful. We ordered cocktails and he forgot to deliver them. After seeing several other tables 20 minutes later receiving their drinks I asked him if he could check if ours were ready and of course they had been sitting there for a while, so they came, ice melted and watered down but we didn't want to wait another 15 minutes to get new ones made. Our food arrived later, the steak was not cooked as we had asked it to be prepared but again we didn't want to wait longer to have a new one made. He did make right by comping the steak which we weren't asking for. Our experience with breakfast was great, fast service and great food. Our waiter was on point and everything was prepared and delivered quickly.

My family decided to try this while we were visiting Grand Teton. It is in a visitor center that has a gift shop as well. The views are stunning. We had a table right by the window with the view of the mountains and the river-can't beat that! The food was really good. The parmesan fries were a great appetizer-highly recommend those and great for sharing. Our server was attentive even though he had several tables he was waiting on. We did go early to lunch, and it was getting more crowded as we left. I do recommend this place-great views and great food!

A total disaster this place is. It happens to be one of the few "games-in-town" and hence they practice arrogance, terrible service, and awful food as a sport. Avoid this place if you can. This afternoon, we got a firsthand experience at this sorry state of affair. We ordered appetizer and main course together, they took 30 minutes to bring out the Nachos, and no, the restaurant was not overly busy. Then it took them another 45 to come back and tell us that they were out of vegetable burger and chicken, so we changed our order, it took them 25 more minutes to get it and my son's order had beans instead of beef, and my fish was cold as if it were just pulled out of the fridge. We asked our server Mitch Doors to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager and then he arrogantly says he cannot do anything to make up for all the mix up, delays, etc. He was clearly underqualified to be a manager, who made this dead beat a manager I wondered. We ate what we could, paid the check, and NO tip, and left. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid this place like plaque.

Very average meal. Our server was not very friendly... kinda barked at us, zero personality, just snippy. Food was just okay. My blackberry margarita had lots and lots of seeds in it…place could use a good cleaning. The girl busing the tables wasn’t doing a great job cleaning/disinfecting them. Silverware was placed directly on the table that she had wiped with a nasty looking rag… vs the napkin, where the silverware should be. My husband had a burger…Fries were limp. I had the Teton cheesesteak and it was good but nothing to write home about. We are not returning.

We ate here twice during our visit to Grand Teton NP. The nachos are HUGE and so yummy. We also tried the wings, trout tacos and a burger. Everything was delicious. I also recommend the huckleberry lemonade cocktail. We sat on the back deck and enjoyed a beautiful view of sunset over the lake/mountains. Our servers were friendly and attentive. Compared to other food options typically to National Parks this place is exceptional.

We ate dinner here two days in a row, including the Signal Mountain Nachos, the burger, and the homemade vegetarian "zesty chickpea burger." Everything was high quality and delicious. The view from the dining room is amazing.

The food portions are massive and quality is great. The views on the deck are incredible. The staff at check in were actually really nice - just our actual server (I forget his name - he worked the outside deck on Jun 19th lunch) was rude & determined to be unhelpful. I don’t know if this is because this is a seasonal gig for some employees but there was a lot of one-word responses and general unwillingness to help. He even looked confused when we asked for silverware (to eat pasta and a salad….) I’m not a picky person but the overall vibe was just off.

We ate here after a long day in the park, it was convenient to our campground and the menu looked good. I believe the staff was still learning and we were informed there would be a wait for our food due to the kitchen being behind. We didn’t mind, why be in a hurry when you can relax and look at the beautiful mountains!? The wait actually didn’t end up being long at all for our food and it was delicious! We were torn on which appetizer to get so we ordered the salsa/guacamole and the trout cakes and both were delicious! For our meals we ordered the chicken quesadilla and fish and chips and both of those were delicious too!
