Traditional Japanese ramen chain where you order via a vending machine and pass the ‘ticket’ to the serving staff. There are only bar counter seats, so you get to see the whole preparation process. You may have to wait (to sit together) if going in...More

Very straight forward order process, and the ramen is served to us in a few minutes. Loved its yuzu shio soup base, it was refreshing and nice to know that we are having a ramen that is high in vitamin C. haha.. Also note that...More

Order at the machine up front, pay, sit down and hand your ticket to the person behind the counter. All counter seating. Small place. Beer available. Yummy flavors. Can get pork or chicken in your ramen (and two types of pork to choose from). You...More

Good food and quick service: Signature ramen with yuzu is interesting. Late lunch around 230 still yielded a small line.

Took me a while to find Afuri but it’s worth it. Luckily I arrived after 2pm on a weekday so I simply brought my noodle ticket and got a seat. The soup base is clear. Really like the taste but the noodle was just ok....More

This Sio (salt) ramen has very clear broth and chicken oil. Great ramen if you want a lighter ramen, especially after drinking too much.

Prompted by the reviews here and being one metro stop away, we went for dinner. Vending machine but English speaking guy helped us with choice and made recommendations. Soy ramen for one of us, spicy for the other. Excellent and fun experience. Basic place, helpful...More

We heard about this place a couple of famous American chefs. For certain, if you love ramen you gotta get here for their version of ramen. On arrival, you use the machine at the entrance to select your ramen choices, but put your money in...More

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
