Fantastic food quality and reasonably priced.
Always get take-out at least once per month from this great family run business.
I have been a regular customer for around 4 years and live over the hill in Wainui.
I don't know if they have special family recipes their curries or perhaps it's always using the best fresh spices in their prep/ cooking but whatever it is, Curry Star serves the best curry I have ever tasted.
I recommend them to all the people I know who live in the Hutt
Service is always with a smile and last year I was shocked when the daughter returned my sunglasses to me that I had left there by mistake a month earlier.
This was done without any prompting from me as I had no idea where I had lost them.
I will always be a loyal customer.

We have been here twice now to get our curry take-away and it has always been of very high standard.
great flavours and portions.
We live nearby and will continue to support Curry Star!!!

Went to this takeaway thinking it as a restaurant where I could sit down and have a nice meal. The guys there were however very friendly and nice and allowed me to sit there and have it although it was a takeaway. I tried Chicken Tikka Masala along with Naan. The Naan wasn't that great but the Chicken Tikka Masala tasted quite good. The capcicum pieces I thought were a little too big to my liking but the taste as well as the quantity were both quite good. Surely recommended as a good takeway outlet.

we were introduced to this takeaway option by friends last weekend and chose it ourselves for a takeout last night. delicious meals. easy phone order service and pickup in 20mins. I like the mushroom vegetarian masala. generous size portions.

Its brighter, glitzier cousins in Central Lower Hutt, Little India and Chilli Masala seem to have stolen the show recently but we reckon the food that Curry Star produces its just as good! PLUS they will give you entree size meals! Ok they don't really do sit-down - but if you want takeaway you don't have to wait ages for - try Curry Star
