Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were going to Gung Jing store to try the steam dumpling, but it was closed, so we came here instead (my friend told me that she tried Gung Jing, Zhoujie is much better). Actually, it should be Steamed bread with pork, not really the steam dumpling. But it’s very delicious, I had not had this kind of steam stuff bread for a long time. It’s our #3 stop, and we were going to try to get some sweet stuff to mark a perf3ct ending of our street food hunting night.

They simply have the best savory xiaolongbao in town. With the price of everything soaring, dip sauce is charged for additional $5 with takeout. It is suggested you bring your own utensils. A Tupperware container seems perfect!

Excellent food with a good selection, friendly and quick service despite the large crowds. Also very popular with locals, take away is also possible.

We loved this place so much that we came back the next day for seconds! Freshly-made, delicious, fast, inexpensive. English menu to boot! What’s not to love?

The 蒸饺were excellent! We thought the Xiao Long Bao were also like the dumplings and ordered 10 also but it was huge like a bun instead of like dumplings. Nevertheless, the 4 of us managed to finish the 10’xiaolongbao and 40 dumplings as they were yummy!
The locals also recommend this shop highly. 😁

We went there twice for this fingerlicking food.
We have tried all the dumplings and the soups.
The food ist just amazingly tasty. No wonder people were standing in line to be seated or to take away.
I am looking forward to return.

Ordered pork dumplings and pork buns. Surprised by how cheap it is (1 portion of dumplings and 4 buns for 50ntd). Also +1 for one of the shopowner for speaking english and help me order the dishes.

Good price, dumplings taste so-so. I am not used to such thick skinned dumplings. Fish balls also so-so.
Hostel staff and driver recommended this restaurant.

We have the pork dumplings, hot and sour soup, and steamed vegetables. It was cheap and yummy. I would go back if I wasn't leaving town.

In my opinion (and per my two visits), I personally prefer this steamed dumplings than the one next door. There are a few flavors to choose from for the steamed dumplings and the dumplings wrapper has a chewy yet soft texture to it, super flavorful with simple filling.
I also tried their Xiao-Long-Bao, and was a little taken as it is not like the ones I am used to. But yet , they are delicious but too much bread for a late night snack! I would highly recommend the steamed dumplings at any hour, as a main meal or as a snack! It is delicious !

The restaurant is small but it's easy to find a seat. Their steamed dumbling is not delicious because the skin was so thin. However, their baozi was the most delicious one I tasted in Hualien. The price is reasonable (5 ntd for each) if you want to pick something quick and tasty.
