Lovely - and great value. Chicken and brie open sandwich and the big brekkie were delicious and in generous sized servings. Great coffee and a nice range of teas. Friendly service - no wonder they are so popular!

Great little cafe that opens at 8am! Met a girlfriend there for a catchup over brekkie. Service was very friendly. I had the waffles - extremely tasty and it was a large serve! Also the smoothies are made from real fruit! When in the area...again I will go again!More

9 of us turned up on opening and the lovely Teesh greeted is with a big small (not a look of horror) Drinks were ordered, coffee was great. A mix of food was ordered that would challenge any kitchen. Food arrived all together. Was served...hot, fresh and very well presented Poached eggs were perfect and other items cooked perfectly Service was great and buzzy Thanks team for feeding the whanauMore
In the past I have experienced good service at Care Rosetta, sadly though today was very disappointing. No hello, or goodbye or a thank you. Staff were all gloomy and lacked zero hospitality skills and lack of awareness for their customers. The young girl of...around 12 who was working was keeping that cafe afloat today, she did look after us. When your spending a lot on two meals you expect better service. I wont be in a rush to return. No excuse either as it wasn't busy.More
Had heard good things about this café in the past and was excited to try. Unfortunately was disappointed. Ordered poached eggs and the eggs were completely dry- they were also served on what looked like budget sandwich bread. Coffee was okay.
We (two + toddler) arrived at 8:15am on Sat and took a table for 3 alongside the toys. Only one other table was occupied. They gave us menus then told (not asked) us to move “because we have a big group coming” to a table...for two. They moved tables to set up for a group of 8 right in a corner that was going to make it difficult for the server to reach 4 diners and left a sign saying booked from 9:30am. Having a toddler with us we didn’t linger and left at 9am. Toddler did not make a noise or a mess and yes, we put the toys away. And unless coffee and OJ are $6.50 each, they overcharged us. Food was very nicely presented but corn fritters were well overdone.More
The Manager / Owner was extremely rude to her staff over customers wanting to use wifi to open thier vaccine passports on entry. Unfortunately this is the new way of hospitality and no reason to take it out on your staff!
We visited Rosetta with a group of friends for our usual Tuesday lunch - our first time at Rosetta. While the rain bucketed down outside we enjoyed our meals and received very good, prompt and friendly service. The meals were all well presented and all...of our group left happy and well fed.More
I'm a local but don't usually do lunch, just grab a coffee and the occasional fantastic cheese scone. But last Saturday our family of four went for lunch. One big breakfast, one eggs bunny, 2 waffles plus coffees. Everything was just fantastic, the food and...presentation of that food and the service could not be faulted. Definitely up there with the very best on the coastMore
Our first family of four get together since lockdown. We are so glad that we chose, and booked a table at this great cafe. They were well geared up for L2+ with spare disposable masks and sign in procedures at the door. The food was...fresh and fantastic. Two of us enjoyed the herb halloumi and avo salad. One corn fritters and a poached eggs on sourdough, and we were a happy family. Great service and good coffee. Perfect!More
The Rosetta never pretends to be what it’s not. It has a good sized blackboard menu of delicious food - freshly cooked and a great range of options in the cabinet. The coffee is excellent and we always love the charm and location of the...cafe building. We go there regularly because the food is always high quality and we really enjoy sitting in the relaxed cafe environment.More
Very impressed by both the quality and the presentation of our meals. Service was very good. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
We have been going to this café as a family for many years and have experienced various owners and menus! Our last couple of visits have been pretty good - really nice brunch menu, good cabinet selection and yummy strong coffee. The waffles are my...fave! It's a cute, quaint little place and they have just closed in their outdoor area so it's nice and toasty in winter. Service is pretty good - they could do better at acknowledging people coming in the door as it's busy and lots of people just stand around waiting to be greeted and seated.More
Drop in for a quick eggs bene and throughly enjoyed it with the homemade hash browns. It’s a funky local seaside cafe with attentive service. NB Ive see other comments about pricing but small cafes still have big overheads. Support local I say.
