This restaurant has a nice feel to it backed up by good service (albeit on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime) and clean loos!
We had the marinaded grilled tuna steaks. The steaks were generously sized and tasty, but sitting in a little too much oil for our taste and served with a very dull and ordinary side salad.
This might have been okay if we hadn't ordered some fried calamari to share as a starter. The calamari was covered in a heavy batter and was not the most tender we have had on La Gomera. So we didn't choose a good combination.
The small carafe of house white was good and the bill came to €38 for two. Good value.

walking along the beach of Valle Gran Rey, we stopped here for lunch. while tourist sit outside on the sun, the few locals and even less tourists eat inside. we shared a very tasty Salad el Paraiso (with goat cheese) and a black rice (min. 2 pax). portions are big, but we managed to finish almost all, except some sweets after. water, two glass of wine, two coffee and two chupitos offered by the house completed the meal. it was a very tasty lunch in a nice setting, and we will sure be back here next days to try some more of the menue.

The perfect location, restaurant located on the beautiful beach of Valle Gran Rey, we have been reserving family/friend lunches for 18 to 22 people for 6 years. If we repeat so many years it is not only because of its good food, it is because of its staff, because of the friendliness, speed and always trying to please the starters. Being able to eat my daughter with celiac disease without worrying about cross contamination deserves a 10 in everything and gentlemen, the food is very good 👌 the Roman-style squid or with Roquefort, the tuna tartare and the seasoned tomatoes, my favorite dishes. I recommend it 100x100 and Daniel his Maitrê is the best 👏 he goes out of his way to ensure that all diners leave happy. In terms of prices, about 18/20 e per person. We have always been more than satisfied with this restaurant in recent years. The good location right by the sea suggests better things, but we were extremely disappointed.
There were 4 of us in the restaurant and three of us ordered an octopus dish for 17.50 EUR on the recommendation of the waiter. The price is absolutely on the high end when you consider the surrounding restaurants, but we still dared to try it.
The dish arrived and we couldn't believe our eyes at what was served on our plates. On each plate was a piece of octopus the size of a Carnarian mini banana decorated with 2 very small potatoes (Papas arroghadas). Otherwise nothing, not even a little salad.
This borders on rip-off, after all this is not a 5-star gourmet temple but a simple, normal tourist restaurant.
Of course we raised the issue with the waiter and pointed out that the price was absolutely not justified for such a small portion, after all we hadn't ordered a starter. We noticed that the waiter was also very uncomfortable with the portion. He just said that he couldn't change the situation and that the boss wasn't there.
We then paid and vowed not to go to this restaurant again. After all, there are enough very good restaurants in the immediate vicinity with the same dishes for a much lower price and the amount of a main course.

We called all day to book... they didn't even pick up the phone. When we go they tell us that it has to be “quick” because they close the kitchen at 22 hours, we arrive at 21 hours and take command at 21:30... there were 10 and we ordered 10 loaves at 1.75 euros each...because they put two glasses of mojos (a real blowout), and when we ordered 4 more they charge us at the same price 1.75. We ordered garlic prawns 10 mini prawns, hardly even seen with garlic, we say it and we are told that the ration is like this... in bad ways. The regular salad. Dinner delicious with special treatment of the owner because it was the birthday of my partner!!! All organized on the go. Very professional and friendly waiters, especially Javi (from Seville) who prepared the Catalan cream and brought us two glasses of cava offered from the owner!!! Thanks for the good deal. Very rich food, fish and seafood grill of the ten, very good tuna splash and especially with tuna 🤣 we usually find more onion or red pepper!

We are looking forward to a beautiful evening at sunset, with fresh fish and a good bottle of Affrutado Blanco.
First the sobering experience, there is no such thing as good Affrutado..😳. I tried the bottle recommended by the waiter, then another sample, but nothing, both were decidedly too dry for me.
The 'fresh' tuna comes quickly, but we doubt whether it is fresh and grilled. We also had a few papas and raw salad.
We then decided not to have anything else.
When the bill came, the bottle of Affrutado was on it, but we canceled it without any problem ;)

The location is great at sunset. The service is friendly. But you don't get a complete menu, you have to ask for the drinks menu, as well as the cocktail menu. I don't think that's so good. The food - one waiter recommended something to us and another said "it's not there anymore". Our alternative dish wasn't that tasty either.

Great view especially to watch sunset so I would definitely recommend this place for a drink but can't recommend the food. My husband ordered pork iberico and it was very tough, so much so that he sent it back (very unlike him). I had mussels which were fine but we wouldn't go back for food.

In our 5 days in El Valle we came twice. One for the evening to have some wines. In front of the beach and see the sunset. Very top.
And another, to eat, where we could taste a very tasty grilled tuna (it is different from Cadiz tuna but with an incredible taste) and a very rich ceviche
The site besides the quality of the food, stands out for the personal treatment (especially of a girl from Cadiz whose name I don't remember if it was Noelia or Noemí......excuse me) who advised us and treated great considering that we were going with a little 15 months

Didn’t rate this place at all. Relying on its location the food was average at best. A simple tuna salad dripping in oil with onion and red and green pepper- no flavour, no seasoning. French fries were mostly raw; and had to send another salad back because the greens were wilting and black. Lazy and uninspiring.

We had dinner at Paraiso del Mar. The restaurant is very nicely located directly on the sea and has a large terrace next to the interior. As a main course we ate a mixed fish plate. Everything was fresh and very delicious. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. All in all, a successful evening. We can only recommend the restaurant.

The food was good, freshly prepared and also very tasty. However, we had a comparatively long wait even though the garden was not fully occupied. The staff seemed tired and stressed. The price was a bit too high for the area. The portion (paella for two) wasn't too generous either. We were only there once a week and didn't want to go back.

Typical Canarian cuisine. Tables can only be reserved inside. On Saturday evenings there is occasional live music - on our evening it was a really horribly monotonous guitarist/singer who distorted a series of songs beyond recognition. Without her it could have been a good evening.
